Weekend shoe recommendations please and thank you!

Thinking of getting yet another pair of shoes for the weekends, and I've found this. Does anyone have any personal experience with Adidas Ultra Boosts? What shoe would you recommend that's somewhat in the same vein as this one?

I wear 4 to 5 inch heels 5 days a week so I'm really in need of something comfortable enough to run marathons in! Asked a couple of my colleagues and they were all unhelpful with one suggesting five-finger shoes which is too wild for me, and the other suggesting Asics which looks way too much like traditional sports shoes even with casual athletic wear (don't kill me please).

I don't get it. They are trainers not weekend shoes.

If you want to wear trainers for comfort just go to a sports shop and try some on.
If you want recommendations for weekend shoes I'd go for Clarks HidinHope in silver. Go with everything. Super comfy.

Ooh I do like those shoes! I'm not too sure if it'll fit into the style of clothes I usually wear for the weekend though, which tend to look something like these.

If you need shoes to run a marathon in, Asics is the only way to go.

If you're looking for something comfortable that goes with active wear clothing, why not take a look at Sketchers?

If you're looking for something in between those two options, why not look at the Nike Air Huarache Ultra Breathe - they have nice colour options in that range and they are super comfortable.

Have a look at Air and Grace London (which are now available in some branches of John Lewis as well as online):

Their trainers might work for you, or even their espadrilles (which I love!). They have memory foam insoles in all their shoes. The only downside is that they sell out for quickly as they're a small company and VERY popular.

I got Air and Grace trainers and found them really uncomfortable. I then left a 3 star review on their website (politely detailing what I thought of the shoes, totally fair) and it got moderated out and never published. Dodgy...

Skechers are comfortable 'weekend' shoes & they've loads of different styles.

Are you a runner? I get on with Asics and Saucony running shoes but recommend not wearing your running shoes for normal wear.
Also recommend not washing trainers or running shoes in the washing machine.

I currently have nikes a bit similar to the OP photo. Very comfortable but check the sizing.

dotandstripe What didn't you like about the Air and Grace trainers? I'm curious (and it won't get moderated out from here!). I met Air and Grace's founder (and her DP) when she was first starting out and she seemed like a very nice, reasonable person. I'm wondering if it was one of her staff who removed your review rather than her. I live in A&G's Coachella boots each winter (I have 3 pairs) but I've found the loafers and the ballet shoes don't seem to fit my feet as well as the boots.

I got the Copelands and expected them to feel quite light (something in between New Balances and Ash Virgos maybe) but the material is really thick and the stitching at the base of the toes rubs my feet after a while. If anything they're a bit heavy. The sole has no flexibility. They also feel really hot - I couldn't bear to wear them in April let alone now, but I guess that makes them suitable for winter.

They also look very wide and chunky; I'm 5ft3 size 10/12 and don't have the long skinny legs all the bloggers posting about these shoes do so they're not that flattering.
