Just that, really. I don't want to buy them all to test out. Thinking along the lines of Dove, Palmers, etc VS concession counter names.

I've had more success with Dove than the other reasonably priced ones- the fair to medium one isn't orange on my skin.

I have to use a mitt with them to stop me going streaky. I think I use a loreal one that isn't too orange on my exceptionally pale legs

I'm about to try Moriz 5 in 1 Tanning Lotion however this wasn't my preferred choice. I actually wanted Moriz Self Tanning Mousse as it's only a fiver in Asda at the minute. Did a Click and Collect and got three of the Lotion versions which I didn't want anyhoo, I'm trying it later. Have of course been exfoliating and moisturing like a loon for the last 24 hours!

I had been using the St Trop in Shower one but no matter how well you rub it in it goes on patchy around the ankles and toes - and knees - so I thought I'd try something else.

I'll try and report back and tell you how it went. I did order their mitt as well (which sensibly has a PVC inside so that the tan doesn't get onto your hands but they didn't have that either - Asda really are very unreliable when you order stuff).

I put the Dove one on my arms last night. Although I am pale I got the medium to dark one. It is a lovely subtle (non orange) colour with no streaks. Might not be obvious as only one application. Compared to the rest of me that stays covered then I have a tan but no one is going to stop me in the street and go "Wow! great tan Deathraystare!" I supect it will take more applications to do that. I will do my legs tonight.

I'm using the palmers one. I am a bit streaky but I should have started using it earlier on my legs (while I was still wearing tights...).

Learn for next time.

It's good though. Nice and moisturising. Smells like biscuits.

Dove is good.
I've also use the Asda own brand one this week and it's been brilliant.
