H&m have lots of lightweight printed trousers that look nice with a plain best or t shirt . This kind of thing

Watching with interest as I dislike getting my legs out too. When it is a heatwave I usually wear a long black linen skirt, 3/4 jeans and cargo trousers and a couple of maxi dresses. I am in my 50's and have a hideous purple varicose vein on one leg and although my legs are not in bad shape I just don't feel confident wearing anything that is shorter than mid calf.

I'm the same too. A bodged up varicose vein op has left me with legs are never revealed.

For work I wear calf length tea dresses, lightweight cotton trousers with dressy tops (not T shirts)

At home I wear 3/4 length trousers and T shirts and below the knee dresses. I do wear long shorts in the garden when I am gardening with DP, but I would never reveal my legs to anyone else......

I wear printed jersey trousers and a plain t-shirt or vest top too, very similar to those above. I got mine from TU this season.

Some of them are viscose which might get a bit sweaty, I would look for jersey cotton. Also, I've needed to go a size or two down or they look like huge clown pants.

We have a new puppy who likes to jump up, which means I cant wear shorts and if I wore a maxi dress she would swing off the bottom of it, so trousers it is for me!

Veiny muscley legs here too.

Gap bi-stretch trousers are less weighty than jeans and look great with a plain T or Breton style top.

I wear leggings (and the style police can FTFO because I look good) and long tops

Occasional foray into maxi dress territory but you have to be careful as a lot of them can make you look awful.

My feet are the biggest problem as they are more scary than my legs Sad

Superga whites look OK with all of the above thankfully!

Same here. And those trousers linked uphread look awful on me as I have a square flat arse, and long tops with them to cover said arse make me look huge.

I usually sweat all summer in jeans. What I want to wear is leggings with a slim fitting but not clingy tunic. But I am yet to find one that I like.

I really don't like the summer at all 😭

Floaty maxi dress.

My legs aren't too bad, however they are day glow white, ATM and I have a fabulous bulging varicose vein that runs from my thigh to over my knee. Plus loads of attractive spider veins and scarred knees from being a clumsy little bugger as a child.

This year I've decided to fuck it and wear shorts.

When the sun actually decides to make an appearance that is. Hmm

I must admit that I don't understand why anyone would want to wear jeans in hot weather. I can't think of anything more uncomfortable.

There are loads of options available - cotton summer trousers, chinos, linen trousers, cropped trousers, 3/4 trousers,
maxi dresses, maxi skirts etc.
