Going on holiday and I want a short skirt to wear for casual that will just pull on and off over swim cossie. So ideally jersey type material? I can't find one anywhere?

Weird fish they do pull on jersey ones.

QueenRefusenik Sat 27-May-17 16:57:08

H&m - plain stretch Jersey in multiple lengths, sizes and colours!

Purplerainbow Sat 27-May-17 16:58:58

Thanks trump. They aren't really what I'm after and are all knee length.... would look awful on me.

Short ones here?smile

Purplerainbow Sat 27-May-17 17:27:44

That could work apple ... you don't think it would look too 'smart' by the pool? Going to a large complex and you're not allowed 'pool wear' in the restaurant so no sarongs obviously!

Bleurghghghgh Sat 27-May-17 17:32:23

They do those H&M ones in loads of colours - a grey or bright one would look fine both poolside and inside I reckon smile

Purplerainbow Sat 27-May-17 17:47:53

bleugh have you seen them in store as they only have black online?

LorLorr2 Sat 27-May-17 17:49:20

Have you thought of a dress so you can wack it on and be totally dressed?

Purplerainbow Sat 27-May-17 18:05:02

lor dresses generally don't suit me. I'm only 5'2 and last time I went away I bought a dress I thought fitted the bill and it looked awful so didn't wear it!

FritzyMousey Sat 27-May-17 18:06:05

I saw some short a-line jersey skirts in Superdry today

Purplerainbow Sat 27-May-17 18:08:50

Really fritzy? I went the other week and they didn't have any. Will have another look!

I like this one from Hush

Purplerainbow Sat 27-May-17 18:13:24

That's nice skinny but me and white don't mix grin plus guarantee I'd get sun cream on it and that stains

Fair enough purple I never wear white either! But could just imagine schlepping from pool to bar in that (with no kids to put their sticky fingers on it, or me spilling my red wine!!)

Purplerainbow Sat 27-May-17 19:12:44

In an ideal world I would wear white but I don't for all the above reasons grin

That asos ones I think I will order first as possibly will look ok on me I think?! They'd look ok with a vest top on top wouldn't they?

reluctantlondoner Sat 27-May-17 19:39:33

M&S do jersey ones in loads of different colours pull on pull off!

Purplerainbow Sat 27-May-17 19:45:45

Purplerainbow Sun 28-May-17 07:40:14

A1Sharon Sun 28-May-17 08:25:23

I haven't seen any in M&S? Going to look at these links too as skirt sounds ideal for me too.

McWeedie Sun 28-May-17 10:59:10

M&S knot front beach dress, various colours, particularly like the striped one. Bought a couple and think they are quite flattering and forgiving grin

IJustLostTheGame Sun 28-May-17 16:52:03

What about the pink M&S sack dress?
That would cover a swimsuit
Just kidding.
