Stripes and florals - a revelation!

Or a total style faux pas?

I've got a couple of floral midi skirts that have lain dormant in my wardrobe because I had no idea what to wear them with.

Then I read on a couple of style blogs that florals go okay with stripes, so out of desperation (haven't done any ironing for weeks) I tried a blue and white breton t-shirt with a floral skirt and I think it looks okay bloody better do, I'm at work now

Does anyone else do this, or am I having a fashion brain-fart?

It's nice if the skirt is not too long and the colours are not matchy-matchy. akak.ru/steps/pictures/000/098/916_large.jpg

I like stripes and leopard print. Florals sound good too.

I felt quite good in it. It felt a bit fresher and more modern than a flowered midi skirt and plain tshirt, which felt a bit 1980s primary school teacher.
