Variations on the pink dress. Has the world gone mad? See attachment!

paulapantsdown Tue 23-May-17 18:26:35

"Superior fabric"!!! They have truly lost their minds!

Best selling? In Bluewater the other week the rack was literally straining under the weight of the unsold pink frocks

EnidButton Tue 23-May-17 18:32:45

How is it best selling? confused Who TF is buying it? We'd spot them surely because they'll hardly be blending into the scenery. Colour me baffled.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Tue 23-May-17 19:55:57

I'm going to get one in every colour.

originalbiglymavis Tue 23-May-17 19:57:50

Floral? I didn't think it could be more ugly. Bet it's orangey.

BestIsWest Tue 23-May-17 19:58:25

In our local M&S they've accessorised it with a jewel encrusted chain belt. It didn't actually look quite so bad.

whatsthefuckingwrongwithyou Tue 23-May-17 19:58:53

Remus grin

Just three more prints and you'll have one for every day of the week. Can you imagine such a thing.

Capsule wardrobe. Sorted. Will take me from work to play in all seasons.

SirNiallDementia Tue 23-May-17 20:02:13

What's the betting that the 'floral' version looks like my nana's curtains?

NisekoWhistler Tue 23-May-17 20:02:32

Ooh more items for my bad taste fancy dress party

whatsthefuckingwrongwithyou Tue 23-May-17 20:12:05

Fuck it, let's have at the entire article:

Some gems coming up for AW.

- A satin shirt with puffy sleeves.
- A dressing gown masquerading as a coat.
- A red suit that looks like something a washed up male cruise ship singer might put on.
- An unfathomably enormous houndstooth print that makes even a beautiful model look an utter sack of potatoes.
- The kind of floral you find on melamine trays in charity shops, inexplicably paired with black, with the vilest sleeves seen since Pink Dress.

P1nkP0ppy Tue 23-May-17 20:16:17

It's like Groundhog Day or a competition to design the least attractive clothing possible and I told them so when they persisted in sending me surveys
Who the heck buys these 'best sellers'? The pink fright reminds me of a shroud......

SirNiallDementia Tue 23-May-17 20:22:19

WTF is this??

wigglybeezer Tue 23-May-17 20:24:11

It was in the window of my local M&s this week.

whatsthefuckingwrongwithyou Tue 23-May-17 20:24:16

Apparently it's "Floral print ... given a tougher edge".

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Tue 23-May-17 20:24:23

I think I'll get five dresses for weekdays and the yellow jobbie for weekends. So flattering, and perfect for anything from windsailing to wine bar.

starsinyourpies Tue 23-May-17 20:38:20

I did a double take of horror at the window display in M&S today, awful dresses and some slogan about sleeves on said awful dresses. Managed to find a few plain kids t shirts but that is all I buy there these days!

EnidButton Tue 23-May-17 21:14:40

Do it Remus you can team them up with those bright red knee boots that are coming out in Autumn.

Speak for yourself. I want a nice static, unlined dress with sleeves to dip in my supper, preferably in exciting shades.

ChampagneSocialist1 Tue 23-May-17 21:32:37

But not big puffy impractical non flattering sleeves grin

ChardonnaysPrettySister Tue 23-May-17 21:48:39

The yellow dress gave me a fright in the shop yesterday.

It's featured in the WardrobeIcons run by Witblog, the pink dress is on the cover of the same issue.
