La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo - now available with SPF 30. Has anyone tried it?

And does it feel and act the same as the original one - but with the added spf benefit?

Also I usually put moisturiser over my effaclar duo; would that reduce the effectiveness of the SPF?

I really need to up my SPF for summer but can't find a sunscreen that I like the feel of on my face. I use Ulay moisturiser fluid with SPF 20 but it's not enough for summer days when out walking for example. I burn easily so need more.

I've just started using it - got it by mistake. It seems gentler than the usual formulation but absorbs well and makes a decent base for makeup. I'll have to give it a bit longer to see if it's effective. I haven't had any luck with the other effaclar moisturisers, so fingers crossed for this one.

Have you tried this one? You can spray it over any cream, and it's really invisible and non-greasy www.chemistdirect.co.uk/la-roche-posay-anthelios-invisible-face-mist-spf-50-75ml/prd-0141358

I bought 2 by mistake, and it was a mistake since I was very allergic to it. I have gone back to the regular one.

awkward so do you still put moisturiser over this one?

kath no, not tried the spray. Have tried the anthelios lotion version though and it was ok but it still felt like it was there and I don't like the feeling of suncream on my face. I also need to apply make up so my usual process is
Cleanse/tone/Effaclar duo/Ulay 7 signs moisturising lotion/ porefessional/bb cream foundation/loose powder
If I apply a spray where does it fit into that sequence?

plock that's a shame. I'll be sure to only buy one. It's on 3 for 2 at Boots but I'll just get two cleansers or something to go with it!

Hi DS, no I haven't been applying moisturiser on top, it doesn't feel like it needs it. It feels richer than the usual one.
