Hopefully pic will show.
link Landsend Sandals.
Maybe not the most exciting but they are very comfy and I reckon quite versatile?

What do you think of these nude wedges?

They look fine.

Not remarkable in any way.

Which I guess is what you were aiming for.

They look like something a woman in her sixties would wear.

cha maybe the OP IS in her 60s. Personally I think they are rather nice and I am not near my 60s. Rude!

I'm have no fashion sense whatsoever and wanted to check that the general consensus wasn't that they were hideous or completely frumpy (for a 40 year old as a wedding guest who can't wear high heels without breaking an ankle...quite literally).

I suppose that was what I was worried about...a bit old for me? I'm so used to wearing trainers that my judgement is off.

If you wear them, nobody will notice them. They will not remember what shoes you were wearing. Their eyes will slide right past.

Ha! Not a glowing recommendation, but I'll take it given my large ungainly feet, could probably do with wearing a disguise.

I don't like them sorry. I think you could find something nicer and still comfortable.

Oh god no, they're awful, which is fine if you don't care and just want comfort but they don't even look comfy!

Sorry

Those are quite high for someone who can't wear heels heatall. I doubt if I could wear shoes like that all day unless I spent most of it sitting down.

Monsoon/Accessorize have some much nicer (and much less frumpy!) nude wedges! Take a look!

Oh god they're awful. Please don't wear them to a wedding. Or anywhere.

I think they are fine, I got a similar pair in red patent, but with a thinner strap at the front from Hobbs ( a few years ago) and everyone compliments them, I have also walked hundreds of miles in them.

I prefer the landend ones to the others.
I think chunky ankle straps cut people off half way.
if the wedding is at a garden venue wedges are far better than any heel.
nothing wrong with them not being remarkable.

They're horrible. Plus LandsEnd shoes are always even worse in the flesh.

If you don't ever wear heels, don't wear heels, seriously. Find a nice flat pair of shoes or sandals instead and enjoy the day without uncomfortable/painful feet.
