Hopefully pic will show.
link Landsend Sandals.
Maybe not the most exciting but they are very comfy and I reckon quite versatile?

Trills Thu 18-May-17 21:35:08

They look fine.

Not remarkable in any way.

Which I guess is what you were aiming for.

ChaChaChaCh4nges Thu 18-May-17 21:37:39

They look like something a woman in her sixties would wear.

Fluffypinkpyjamas Thu 18-May-17 21:39:17

cha maybe the OP IS in her 60s. Personally I think they are rather nice and I am not near my 60s. Rude!

Epictantrum Thu 18-May-17 21:39:18

I'm have no fashion sense whatsoever and wanted to check that the general consensus wasn't that they were hideous or completely frumpy (for a 40 year old as a wedding guest who can't wear high heels without breaking an ankle...quite literally).

Epictantrum Thu 18-May-17 21:40:34

I suppose that was what I was worried about...a bit old for me? I'm so used to wearing trainers that my judgement is off.

Trills Thu 18-May-17 21:41:40

If you wear them, nobody will notice them. They will not remember what shoes you were wearing. Their eyes will slide right past.

Epictantrum Thu 18-May-17 21:43:37

Ha! Not a glowing recommendation, but I'll take it given my large ungainly feet, could probably do with wearing a disguise.

Fluffypinkpyjamas Thu 18-May-17 21:47:59

Paint your nails and have fun!

heateallthebuns Thu 18-May-17 22:00:50

I don't like them sorry. I think you could find something nicer and still comfortable.

blue2014 Thu 18-May-17 22:05:13

Oh god no, they're awful, which is fine if you don't care and just want comfort but they don't even look comfy!

heateallthebuns Thu 18-May-17 22:10:50

How about these:

Iamastonished Thu 18-May-17 22:14:32

Those are quite high for someone who can't wear heels heatall. I doubt if I could wear shoes like that all day unless I spent most of it sitting down.

heateallthebuns Thu 18-May-17 22:17:38

How bout these? They're much lower!,33/2676286124

FitnessFad Thu 18-May-17 22:18:29

Monsoon/Accessorize have some much nicer (and much less frumpy!) nude wedges! Take a look!

lorelairoryemily Thu 18-May-17 22:21:02

Oh god they're awful. Please don't wear them to a wedding. Or anywhere.

Justdontgetitatall Thu 18-May-17 22:23:53

As I was scrolling, my finger covered the word Wedges... shockconfusedhmm

heateallthebuns Thu 18-May-17 22:26:37

What are they to go with?

DarthMaiden Thu 18-May-17 22:27:39

These are in the same vein but prettier, size:

Or these in rose gold

heateallthebuns Thu 18-May-17 22:31:01

Good call darth!

MrsMarigold Thu 18-May-17 22:42:14

I think they are fine, I got a similar pair in red patent, but with a thinner strap at the front from Hobbs ( a few years ago) and everyone compliments them, I have also walked hundreds of miles in them.

Out2pasture Thu 18-May-17 23:16:10

I prefer the landend ones to the others.
I think chunky ankle straps cut people off half way.
if the wedding is at a garden venue wedges are far better than any heel.
nothing wrong with them not being remarkable.

AnotheBloodyChinHair Fri 19-May-17 06:29:49

They're horrible. Plus LandsEnd shoes are always even worse in the flesh.
