Smart hooded summer rain coat

I remember struggling for ages to get a smart lightweight rain coat with a hood. In the end I found one in TK Maxx, it was a trench with a hood. I wore it briefly yesterday and it comes nowhere near to doing up around my post pregnancy boobs. Looks like the coat hunt starts again.

I'd really like to pay less than £100. I have a winter coat so don't want anything heavily lined. I like bright colours. Would like it around knee length. It would be good if it looked ok undone.

Every couple of years I see a woman in a lovely full skirted coat and get envious, but I've never seen one for sale.

Any suggestions please?

I would like to know this too.
Something that will go with sandals and that you can throw on if you get caught out by the weather.

I think this fits the brief although not under £100|ANTGOLD

There is a slightly shorter one which is under £100 and I can vouch for it keeping you dry. Also very roomy.

I got a great one by Rains, was £100.
It's a Danish company. Very smart , styled like a normal coat not a hill walker style thing, longish length , yet 100% waterproof.

Thanks both!

What's the fabric like on the rains one? It looks like it has the potential to be a bit sweaty.

I love my Ilse Jacobsen raincoat and have received loads of compliments. They do quite a few different colours. I have this one which is so comfortable and under £100!

Rizzle I think everyone else loves it too, it's nearly entirely sold out!

This has free delivery and returns so I'm thinking about getting one to try on

If you hate the cold, don't you hate rain too? Maybe that's why they're so sulky!

I couldn't open the link but think I have the uniqlo one in dark green. I love it, best buy in years. It looks smart enough for work and great with casual clothes too.

I found the Uniqlo one very small. Very small.

Very small is a concern because my boobs are very big. I might risk an XL on that basis rather than ordering L and XL.

Rains ok for sweaty, think there's holes for air conditioning !
The models look pissed off because it's a cool company grin

My friend was a fashion model at 18-19 and said it was easy, all he had to do was be tall and look sulky.
