I remember reading on here before about some cheaper perfumes actually being quite nice.
I'm needing a nice (cheap) summer perfume. Thanks all Smile

Green tea by Elizabeth Arden is gorgeous and about a tenner on amazon for a massive bottle

Plum by Mary greenwell is lovely and under £30 for a massive bottle from the fragrance shop.

Cheaper than that there is avon or the factory shops own brand ones

M&S does some nice perfumes, particularly Island Escape.

Everything I've bought from Perfume Parlour so far has been cheap and really bloody great Grin

Today I am wafting an air very reminiscent of Creed's Millésime Impérial, but I didn't have to take out a mortgage to buy it.

Tomorrow I'll put on something that smells just like New West without having to chance my arm on ebay, cos it was discontinued years ago and goes for eye watering prices.

They are my warm weather perfumes, marine notes, make me a bit giddy.

Think I paid about €15 euros each for them.

Although... if you do go to perfume parlour might be best to work out the top whack you want to spend on smellies before you set foot on their site. I tend to go a bit "kid in a sweetie store". It helps if I set a limit rather than let myself whirl around hurling stuff in my basket.

Well if you're taking cheap cheap there's always Lidl's perfume which I alway keep on my bag, it's perfect for spraying through the day without worrying about how quickly you're getting though the bottle.
Some days I'm on and off the Metro attending meetings at different venues, I always have a spray of perfume as it makes me feel prepared Smile

I'm currently loving Zara's Oriental and New Look's Touch. I can't put my finger on what Touch smells like, but I absolutely love it & get loads of compliments on it. It actually lasts too.

Avon Alpha is another good one, although it doesn't last, but it's cheap enough to keep spraying.

Royal Diamond by Yardley (very light but very cheap and refreshing - smells exactly like Chloe to me)
White Musk by Body Shop
Sunflowers/Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden

This is actually very nice - my older teens have snaffled it. I kind of associate Yardley with old ladies so was surprised at how light and nice this is at under £10

Next do some good dupes for designer perfumes, all under £15.
Just Pink is very similar to Ralph Lauren Romance.
Nude is a bit Coco Chanel-ish.
The bottles are huge, too.

Zara perfumes are good value, too. The Rose one is nice.
The Peony one smells a bit like Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb.

If you like rose, the Body Shop's Wild Atlas Rose EDT is lovely. Think its under £20.

And River Island is worth a shout. New York smells like Gucci Rush to me.

Yardley English Daisy is lovely as is Yardley Jade (smells exactly like Chanel Cristalle)

Sarah Jessica Parker's "Lovely" was recommended on another thread - it's gorgeous, kind of salty.
Yes to the Lidl perfumes - Suddenly Madame Glamour is very like Coco Mademoiselle and there's a pale blue bottle that's nice too (can't remember the name)

Next Eau Nude and Cashmere - huge 200ml bottle is £20, 100ml is about £12 I think. Cheap enough to have bottles everywhere and spritz liberally as and when required.

Clarins Eau Dynamisante is a little bit dearer (I think I paid about £25 for my last bottle) but I have been wearing it for years and still love it.

Bulgari Black. It smells of warm rubber, vanilla, musk and electricity: hard to describe, but delicious. It wears down to a soft, intimate musk. It's about £20 a bottle. It's one of the three perfumes I wear most often (the others are Penhaligon's Castile and - my fave - Hermes Eau des merveilles, but they are not particularly cheap).

I like Blue Grass by Elizabeth Arden. Just picked up a 100ml bottle for £12. It's a nice, clean, inoffensive scent for summer.

I love Moringa EDT from Bodyshop. Think it was only about £10 but it's really fresh and I don't think it smells cheap at all.

Stoat

I would stock up on the rubbery Bulgari Black - it is getting rarer and rarer these days, I think it has been discontinued.

SJP Stash, smells like an £££ niche fragrance.

Online if you don't mind me asking, what is the perfume that smells like New West please? I used to love it, and was so disappointed when it was discontinued.

adam levine perfume smells similar to tom ford santal blush, except its a tenner (on Amazon) instead of £200.
sort of vanillary sandalwood. Very unlike most celebrity perfumes. Not sweet or teenagery.
