Stepmother of the groom?

Not bride?

Too much. Way too much.

It's gorgeous, but...no.

The agree, not the right dress for a wedding. Can we help you find something else?

No. That's really not OK. Well, unless the invitation specifically demands evening wear and, TBH, even then it'd be a bit much for SMOTG.

Are you one of the bridesmaids OP? If not, step away from that dress.

I'm afraid it's all wrong for stepmother of the groom.

Nice dress but not for a wedding, and especially not as stepmother of bride or groom.

Seen anything else you like? What type of styles would you usually go for?

Is it a black tie wedding?

Ah, right, that makes more sense. I'm sure people will have some good suggestions for you.

What's your budget, and is it navy you're after? An idea of your height size and shape would help.

This is a great dress, elegant and very flattering. Easy to glam up in too.

Thanks Mrslettuce that's lovely. I would pick that. Red suits me not sign much pinks and pastels. Anything up to the neck makes me look all boobs and boxy. I'm 5ft7 and size 14...anot hour glass type and 50.
