Piles cream on eye bags....does it actually work?

As title. I've heard so many people over the years go on about how pile cream is meant to be good for eye bags. Yet, I don't actually know anyone who has tried and tested it, and if so, which cream they've been using.

Can anyone enlighten me?

My husband was recommended this by some friends on Facebook and he tried it for about 4 days and it did seem to help.
I'm not brave enough to try!

Don't use the type with hydrocortisone though as that thins the skin.
