Just that really.
Looking for some very comfortable but not too boring metallic sandals, flat with thick soles. Have bought from all three of these brands before and been happy and comfortable:

  1. www.fitflop.co.uk/en/womens/womens-sandals/bon-leather-back-strap-sandals%7C-fitflop-official-online-store/190035351526.html (can get these for £75 from another retailer)

  1. www.russellandbromley.co.uk/flat-sandals/lazey/invt/431513

  1. www.geox.com/en/women/shoes/flat-sandals/koleos-silver-D725PA000BLC1007.html#q=koleos&page=1&start=2 (Can also get £10 off these.)

I think I like the R&B pair the most though mainly for the colour. I think the sole of the geox ones would get dirty and they'd end up looking grubby v quickly.

I'd try on both the first two and see which is comfy

I like 2 best, then 1, then 3

I like the Russell & Bromley ones.

I prefer the colour of the first ones but the style of the third ones - appreciate this is't particularly helpful!

I like the first two. I suspect the R&B ones will be the most long lasting and comfortable since they are almost double the price of the others.

I like all of them
I would probably buy either the geoxx or the fitflop , they look more comfy and are not a ludicrous price.

I like the Fitflops (1) the most, then the Geox (3). I don't really like the R&B pair at all - sorry!

I prefer 1, but wouldn't get on well with the thick sole. I don't particularly like any of them tbh, but then I do have a very boring taste in shoes.

Seems pretty evenly divided so far! No wonder I can't decide.

On colour, I like the bronze of 1 but also the silver of 2 and 3 - though 2 colour is nicer than 3 IMO because a subtler, less 'shiny' silver.

I've tried on all 3 and all seem very comfortable in the shop.

Have also had an earlier pair of Fitflop sandals similar to 1 which were comfortable.

Any more views?

Yes, but you may not like this view I'm afraid! I think they all look a bit grandma. The fitflop ones slightly less so if you are hell bent on buying one of the three options. They all LOOK comfortable, if you see what I mean. If comfort is a priority I'd be looking for something that is comfortable but hides it well!

Thanks for the view, Nettle. It's all a matter of personal preference and taste but, though I agree those shoes all look comfortable, don't think that necessarily equals frumpy ( which I guess is what you mean by 'grandma'.

As far as I can see, this style of sandal - which doesn't try to 'hide' its comfort - has been in fashion for last couple of years and examples are still all over the style and fashion pages. And R and B tend to be more stylish than frumpy . They do have some conservative styles that go on from year to year but that particular one is new season. So I don't think I'd feel frumpy in any of them.
