Please help: Are you a size 16 or 18 and have either of these Boden / Phase Eight dresses you would be willing to sell?

Hi everyone,

I'm desperately trying to track down either of the following dresses:

Phase eight dress

Boden dress

I've tried ebay, outlets, emailing the companies, but to no avail.

Do any of you lovely mumsnetters have one of these dresses, pref a size 18 but maybe a 16, that you don't wear and would be willing to sell?

I'd be grateful for any help!

Sorry - bumping for you. I do have a Boden dress in an 18 but nothing like as nice as those (not sure which is the one you want?)

To be honest I'd be happy with either, I hate hate hate wearing dresses but there is something I will have to be formally dressed for and it will focus on my family, so I need to find something I will feel comfortable in and feel not stressed about how I look as I won't be able to hide

Hi OP, which Boden dress is it you're looking for? The link leads to lots of different images. I do have 2 navy Boden dresses size 18, one not yet worn but I'm not sure if either are what you're looking for.

Hi NewPants, `it does look a simialr shape to th navy & black one but it's the navy and black one I would like, it's a plainer / darker colour I'm needing, plus I'm 5 ft so not sure a longer length might look a bit out of shape on me?

Long sleeves
Muted colours
Jersey/soft material

The Phase Eight dress looks a bit like a dress to hide behind, rather than wear. Are you feeling self-conscious?

Thanks for replies, Ilike the bofden dress as it's got a good sleeve length, nice neckline and the waist pleats will help with structured skirt hiding my huge stomach!

The phaseeight dress, i love the cape part and it will slighlt hide my huge norks!

I don't like v necks, i like plain high round necks and sleeves!! not prepared to bare my arms!, also simple plain silhouettes nt fussy details.... i am a pain....

I live in jeans, but sadly I am being very very sensible and trying to find a dress for a funeral I will have to attend where it wil be for an immediate family member and I won't be able to hide at the back / skulk off anywhere, so I really want to be prepared to brave it out

I don't have either of those but I do have this, worn once (loads of compliments) and now doesn't fit due to weight loss. Not sure it fits your criteria but thought I'd put it out there in case it's any good. It's very flattering.
