Looking for some advice now summer is rolling around!
I have rosacea. Not severely but my skin tone is very uneven and quite red in places and it is always worse in summer. I also have large pores (will be getting my first dermapen treatment in May top hopefully help with this!) and my skin is quite dry in places.
In winter I apply my primer, foundation and pressed powder over the top and then use a setting spray. Generally it stays in place quite well. But come summer, something happens to my face and after a while I just look cakey and you can basically see where the makeup has set into the pores. I think the heat from the sun does something to the powder and foundation and makes it mix weirdly on my skin. I'm thinking of trying a day of just using foundation (Estee Lauder I use double wear) and then a setting spray and seeing how I get on. Does anyone else wear foundation but not powder? I love summer for the warmth but boy does it play havoc with my face
