Evening all,

So I'm going to the Maldives in August when I'll be about 23 weeks , looking for nice dresses and swimwear - it'll be about 30 degrees out there , not sure what it gets like in the evenings!

Thanks :)

My favourite place in the world! The evenings are very warm, you just need one wrap or light cardigan if at all. In many resorts people (myself included) go barefoot the whole time including to dinner. So don't bother packing lots of shoes and take more casual dresses that look good without shoes!

At 23 weeks you shouldn't be too big so I would go for normal dresses that accommodate a bump and can be worn for breastfeeding (if you plan to) the summer after.

The Hush short sleeved V-neck Tara dress fits the bill. And Boden have a few wmpire line and Maxi dresses that would work. Maxi dresses are great against the mosquitos too to stop you getting bitten at sundown drinks and dinner.

Will try and post some links.

Tara V neck. I have it in black but khaki or stripe would be nice for summer:

I have this in blue (not too keen on the prints). This can accommodate a bump, you can BF in it and it has hidden pockets which is great for your phone and keys the summer after when juggling a baby!

Some great suggestions , I have a few bits left over from 2 years ago (1st baby) but didn't go anywhere hotter than the uk!
