Replacement for Lancome Photogenic Lumessence??

I've used this foundation for a few years now, never found anything else that works so well on my skin (very fair with daaark circles under eyes), but I just went to buy some more as I've almost run out and was horrified to find they've discontinued it, and I can't buy it anywhere! :( Can anyone recomment anything very similar please? I use the '02 Lys Rose' shade; I've tried Teint Miracle and find it way too thin, it just doesn't cover the dark circles or give as nice a finish.

I know you can still buy it in the US, but they have weird non-corresponding shades and I can't work out the equivalent, otherwise I'd just buy it online and have it sent over!

Recommendations please??

Try Lancôme Customer Services?

I asked, they recommended their Teint Miracle, even after I'd said it's no good for me :(

Other than that - if you have any left try getting a math at Cosmetics a la carte who can custom mix for you.

Thanks Deathray, I hadn't heard of them, I shall go and have a look!

Nobody used to use this one though, and now recommend something as good??

I used to use Photogenic Lumessence until I went on maternity leave and had to reign my spending in a bit. I swapped to Bourjois Healthy Mix and I think it's just as good, so much so that now I am back at work I am still using it.
It's only about a tenner so not the end of the world if you try it and don't like it.

Thanks Monkey, I'll have a look! Problem I'm having is that I can't get into shops, so trying to find out what the equivalent of my normal shade is in another brand of foundation is going to be ... interesting! Wish there was a series of comparison charts online!

Do an image search of your old foundation and shade and someone might've searched it along with other foundations so you can compare.

Lancôme have reformylated their teint idole 24hr foundation and brought out new shades. They give out generous samples if you can get to a counter.

Sali Hughes raves about Guerlain gold fluide foundation and Suqqu cream. Both are pricey if you can't test first though.

There was somewhere that you put your shade in and it told what shade you'd be in other foundations but I can't remember what it was called. Hopefully someone else will know,

Hmmm, a search doesn't bring up any swatches sorry.

Thanks Enid, I had tried the image search hoping for the exact same thing as you suggest, but couldn't find anything. The bizarre thing is that Lancome still sell this in the US but their shade names (and range) are all different to the UK's, so I don't know what the equivalent of mine would be. I did email to Lancome customer service to ask them, but that one they never bothered to answer! But I'd just as soon find a suitable alternative over here anyway, I don't want to be tied to always having to get my foundation from the States.

I really can't get in to any store, unfortunately, otherwise I'd just hit my nearest huge department store, foundation in hand, and ask the counter staff! I did try the Lancome Teint Miracle product, but found it entirely too thin (to cover my dark circles, didn't need to cover up anything else), unfortunately. Bit of a waste of ££ :(

That swatch service would be brilliant if it had this foundation, what a shame it didn't. Thanks so much for looking!

Which Bourjois Healthy Mix shade is the same as bisque 6 w? I’d love to try this if it is less expensive and same color. Having the hardest time finding this anywhere and i’m In the US?

Has anyone found a replacement for Lancome Photogenic Lumessence? I am also so disappointed that it has been discontinued. It was the best foundation that I have ever used. I tried Lancome Renergie, Teint Miracle, and Teint Idole. I did not like any of them. I really hope that Lancome will bring back Photogenic! It was the best!

i agree, I miss the Photogenic, it was so lovely, creamy and dewy. What they have to meddle and change things I don’t know. It lasted ages, the other Lancôme foundations don’t come close. Reinstate it Lancôme please.
