Wearable jersey trousers that verge on pjs

But not the hush ones. Can anybody recommend some good cheap jersey / t-shirt fabric loose trousers with a stretchy waist? Maybe patterned but especially black, and with a tapered / narrow ankle.
Last year surprisingly I had some great (admittedly paisley) ones from Asda George, but this year I can't find similar. I'd like to keep the price low so I can buy a stack of them for taking travelling.
Thanks in advance Smile

Oh boo, I came on to say Hush! But now I've got nothing. This sounds like an M&S/ Tescos solution to me...

ASOS jersey peg trousers. Surprisingly flattering (I don't find the "peg" styling at all overly peggy, if you see what I mean but flatteringly semi fitted), really easy to wear and supremely comfortable.

I have some from Asda and some from h&m but it was in the summer last year so not sure if they will still have them in now.

Otherwise I have yoga pants from peacocks that are really comfy Smile

Tesco! I have some grey marl ones from there and I am wearing them to death. I love them!

Another vote for Next jersey trousers - I have 6 pairs.

H&M have a black pair that look totally smart but are comfy and have a joggers-style waist....

Oh great just been out and returned, these are all fab suggestions. I have the m&s ones and I think they'd be lovely on someone with a flatter tummy (indeed I thought they'd be lovely on me!) but post 5 pregs they make me look a bit pre menstrual. I'm going to investigate all of these, off to next tomorrow . Thanks everyone!

Actually I tell a lie, I don't have those m&s, mine are more haremy (hadn't checked the link properly. Those are quite good, but also I don't really like cuffs. Ideally need them to be smart enough for impromptu professional (tho creative) meetings, so nothing too sporty... And pref no drawstring, more lounge luxe (for around the 12 quid mark lol)

I like the Asos peg, But I fear they may look like badly fitting leggings on me. can anyone comment on the fit/ sizing? Are they clingy fitting?

I like the Next ones, I've lived in them all winter. Also love them for traveling. I have four pairs.

Could people please post links to the ones they're suggesting as I'd like the same thing and am too clothes-stupid to correctly identify them from a photo. Blush

Uniqlo? I'm trying not to live in the Airism stretch ankle pants that I bought last year when I had a few long haul flights coming up and wanted something comfortable for travelling in. I'd say they veer more towards sport luxe in style but still smart enough that I felt comfortable wearing them in airport lounges etc.

I like the Uniqlo very much. Bit cuffy but otherwise perfect. How's the fabric? Thick like 1980s sweats or thinner like a t shirt?

The ASOS ones not fitted on me...I think I've got legs like tree trunks and I find them really flattering.

Those ASOS ones.....do you mean the ones with the super wide hareem waistband or the ones with the ordinary thin waistband?

That's very encouraging bingohandjob- I'll check those out right now. Cheers
