Navy with leopard print....

So I realise that this is really quite a petty question...

I think of leopard print, being black and brown, as matching with, well, black brown cream white and maybe red. But not navy. Coz we were all taught that black and navy don't go

Except they do these days if you wear them deliberately and, out of preferenc, happen to be beautiful and Parisian

So, in th same vein, can I wear leopard print with navy? Precise context is can I wear funky leopard print block heels ( boden) with navy jumpsuit (finery) ?
