Does a genuinely waterproof liquid eyeliner actually exist?

Been trying to find one for ages but even the ones that claim to be, haven't turned out to be!

Any recommendations?

There's one that I have that i have to scrub really hard with a baby wipe to get off- it's definitely waterproof! It's 17 Tattoo Me liquid eyeliner- it's a smallish tube but only £4 and as I said- definitely waterproof! Some people say that Rimmel's liquid eyeliner is waterproof but mine always smudged off, however this one definitely has some staying on power! Hope this helps smile

The gel ones tend to be the hardest to budge. Eg. Bobbi Brown ones in a pot or the Maybelline or Rimmel ones which are exactly the same as the BB ones as far as I can work out.

Tattoo me from 17 would survive a nuclear war. I converted after reading on Gloss.

Getting it off is hard.

The Eyeko skinny liner is very good too, doesn't budge on me.

Stila all day waterproof eyeliner. It is INCREDIBLE. I have really oily lids and it doesn't budge for 12 hours +. I got mine for about £12 on Amazon.

I find the Bobbi Brown gel liner the best and it can be used on the waterline, even on my teary eyes!

Another eyeliner question, sorry to highjack your thread op, is there a liquid liner that gives a really shiny or wet look finish?

I use rimmel waterproof and its OK but not great. Definitely need to try the ones recommended.

Try the bourjois liquid liner clubbing I think it's called - even stays put after I've been to the gym and has a bit of a wet look to it too!

Ooh thanks!

The Makeup Forever Aqualiners have a reputation for being completely waterproof but maybe best to try the Seventeen one first as they're pricey!

What does that mean mike?

Don't put eyeliner in the waterline. In case of infection or damaging your eyes.

bionicant Thu 30-Mar-17 22:53:50

yes! this one

bionicant Thu 30-Mar-17 22:55:50

i use a mac pencil waterline as it stays put and doesn't travel

the no 17 tattoo liner does travel a bit until set, hard work, the smashbox liner sets straight away and doesn't inflame eyes. it's £££ but I would totally recommend as it lasts months.

bionicant Thu 30-Mar-17 22:57:10

won't link but its the smashbox limitless eye liner

nursebickypegs Thu 30-Mar-17 23:00:15

Mac fluid line. I applied it on the Wednesday at Glastonbury and still there by Saturday.

KanyesVest Thu 30-Mar-17 23:13:16

Liquid eyeliner from poundland. It's amazing!

Destinysdaughter Thu 30-Mar-17 23:30:03

Well the No 17 one certainly does the job!
