Do you think this is nice or hideous?

For the summer- with a plain blue vest top or tshirt? Obviously a tan and sandals.

RL opinions were on the hideous side!

Hid. Sorry

Sorry, I think it's hideous, too!

Screamer1 Fri 24-Mar-17 21:16:22

Not loving it tbh. Nice shape though.

Backingvocals Fri 24-Mar-17 21:17:11

Looks like a tablecloth in a cheap Spanish taverna. Does that kill it sufficiently?

MrsDc7 Fri 24-Mar-17 21:17:25

Depends massively on your body shape - tall then maybe okay - short arse like me? Hid

IDoAllMyOwnStunts Fri 24-Mar-17 21:17:41

I quite like it! Not enough to pay £38 quid though.

Boiled7Up Fri 24-Mar-17 21:17:48

Ah, I dunno. I might style it out.

EsmesRedPetticoat Fri 24-Mar-17 21:18:08

I like it. Quirky. Horribly styled for that picture though.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser Fri 24-Mar-17 21:18:34

I quite like it, but the pattern is... not to my taste. If I looked like the model I would wear it though

I like it, but would like it much better if not so blue. Am a fan of 'quirky' skirts.

Boiled7Up Fri 24-Mar-17 21:19:48

The black detail that looks like cornicing 7/8 of the way down doesn't add to it, I would prefer it without that.

Boiled7Up Fri 24-Mar-17 21:20:19

Oh, a quirky skirt lover! Where else do you shop? Anything in mind for the summer?

PollytheDolly Fri 24-Mar-17 21:20:57

Definitely quirky! I love it.

LoupGarou Fri 24-Mar-17 21:36:34

I don't like it, Lindy Bop do some beautiful skirts in similar styles, I love this one...

FlappyRose Fri 24-Mar-17 21:38:30

I quite like it

ohdoadoodoo Fri 24-Mar-17 21:39:28

I like it!

Bluntness100 Fri 24-Mar-17 21:40:39

Actually I think it's lovely, which is unusual for me as I usually hate patterns...however I think you need to be tall and slim to carry it off. It would also be lovely on holiday.

dudsville Fri 24-Mar-17 21:40:42

Whether this outfit works or not depends on you.

PollytheDolly Fri 24-Mar-17 21:47:51

I get my stuff from charity shops mostly. Actually my DH picks most of it, he has a really good eye for spotting stuff (and for the house which everyone says is quirky and eclectic). I tend to glaze over when shopping.

I'd say I dress different to most around where I live but I like that.

CointreauVersial Fri 24-Mar-17 21:56:34

I had one just like it in 1982. I think I made it in Needlework Class at school.

Having said that, it's OK. I reckon you could make it work with a plain top and sandals.

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Fri 24-Mar-17 22:06:27

In summer a 'quirky' skirt with a cami, a cotton cardigan or denim jacket and sandals is one of my favourite outfits.

Just been looking at this/

Cute if you're young and tiny.
