About to run out of my 2 favourite perfumes that I have been hoarding for decades,I've always kept them in the boxes in a cool dark cupboardso they still smell just like they used to.really gutted that I cant buy them anymore!
Aramis New West for her
Ultima11 sheer skin scent.
Where can i get more? Ive loved these 2 since the early 90s...

I wear Oscar de la Renta which seems to have been discontinued but I still manage to get it on Amazon (and it smells like it should and last properly too so I am assuming it is real!). try there.

Oh that's weird. I was looking at oscar last night. Is it lovely. Can you describe it

TheGaleanthropist Thu 23-Mar-17 17:38:24

I remember that New West one. Kind of shimmery.

AliciaMayEmory Thu 23-Mar-17 17:41:44

I'm the same. I love the Swarovski Aura perfume but the only place I can get it is on Amazon and I'm worried it might not be the real thing. I also loved Stella McCartney's perfume called Nude, but that was discontinued too. May be I just pick awful perfumes that no one else buys! blush

Olafffuxache Thu 23-Mar-17 17:43:19

Yes!! That was the desert nectar version, shimmery melony cucumber, aquatic ozone.Ive just seen ebay ,there is a full bottle of the edt going for £349!!!!!!!!!! Not paying that!!

Gloria! By cacherel. I love it and still have half a bottle I'm clinging on to. So sad it's gone sad

bluebump Thu 23-Mar-17 17:46:05

I was gutted when Polo Sport for Women was discontinued, I still mourn its loss grin

Olafffuxache Thu 23-Mar-17 17:47:11

Your stella mccartney one is going on ebay for £90 up to £250!!!
Imagine how much money we would make if we could go back in time to a perfume counter!

Olafffuxache Thu 23-Mar-17 17:49:33

Just looked up yours, theres a partial bottle starting at £40

EyesOfABlueDog Thu 23-Mar-17 17:51:19

I also miss New West Olaf As you say, it goes for crazy prices on eBay, so I will never be able to wear it again, sadly! A very kind perfumista on the perfume thread recommended a dupe from the Perfume Parlour. I have not tried it yet, but will report back.

TheGaleanthropist Thu 23-Mar-17 17:52:53

Used to be able to get Eau de Gucci on eBay for a not bad price. I loved it so much.

Olafffuxache Thu 23-Mar-17 18:09:03

@ eyesofabluedog are you in the UK?

Olafffuxache Thu 23-Mar-17 18:11:04

The only thing close to New West ive come across is Crabtree and Evelyn La Source hand and nail therapy creme.its not identical but will remind you a tiny bit!

EyesOfABlueDog Thu 23-Mar-17 18:13:35

Yes Olaf in the UK. Thanks for the tip, I will try it! It was such a unique smell - I don't know why they discontinued the For Her one and not the one for men.

Deathraystare Thu 23-Mar-17 18:14:08

Beauty base (in some shopping centres incl Westfield Shepherds Bush) had Oscar a while back and I bought it. Have love/hate relationship with it as Bruv's first wife used it. He had back luck with x 2 wives!

Deathraystare Thu 23-Mar-17 18:14:55

btw I do remember the Aramis one. Used to love it. I bet you can get it o ebay or some other perfume place.

sureitsgrand Thu 23-Mar-17 18:15:38

Oh I understand this! I've never got over the loss of d&g feminine and Velvet Hour by Kate Moss (a bit cringe but I loved it!)

Olafffuxache Thu 23-Mar-17 18:18:51

@deathraystar,yes,we were just saying, theres a bottle of new west on ebay for £349!!!!!

rookiemere Thu 23-Mar-17 18:21:53

I loved Sicily by D&G. Managed to get a reasonably priced Ebay one but once that's finished then that's it <sob>

millefeuille1 Thu 23-Mar-17 18:25:56

Mine is Climat by Lancome. Impossible to get now but I would love to get some.

Olafffuxache Thu 23-Mar-17 18:27:50

26 results for sicily D&G,not cheap!

Olafffuxache Thu 23-Mar-17 18:29:25

Quite a few climat by lancome, reasonable prices...

tobee Thu 23-Mar-17 18:42:42

Do you know Perfume Parlour, op? They do a dupe of New West. The consensus on here with Perfume Parlour some are spot on, some less good. You could buy their version of New West (cost start about £2) and try it out to see if it's any kind of subject for the real thing.
