Has anyone had a CACI face treatment?

I look so old and tired. I'm only 32. A friend recommended CACI but is pretty expensive so I want to know if it will be worth it. Anyone who's had it, can you tell me what it's like and if you got good results?

Yes, it's very effective but you need to have a course of about 6 weeks and then a 1x a month maintenance treatment.

If you want something that has immediate results then maybe go for a glycolic peel or microdermabrasion?

So is the maintenance forever? As in you have to maintain it like Botox to look good. Microdermabrasion is something I've thought of before so could try that first. Not sure about a peel though sounds a bit scary!

Peels aren't scary at all as long as you don't have one that is incorrect for you. Sticking retin A on your skin is far more risky. Any treatment requires maintenance whatever it is - there is no such thing as a fix all forever treatment.

Caci would be cheaper than Botox I think.

Thank you thats helpful! I'm not actually considering Botox, just wondered if it was similar in the sense that you need to keep topping it up.

Completely different treatments you cannot have one with the other Botox freezes the muscles so you don't develope lines CACI reeducates the muscle and microdermabrasion gives the skin a new lease of life by deminishing the outer layer of skin giving way to new skin underneath. In my experience - after having salons for 20 years- I believe others may not, that ageing is to a large degree genetic and the next contributory factors are in order smoking drinking sun diet and exercise. What you use or do to your face has little bearing on how young you look if your are looking older be honest with yourself and look at your genes.

Ageing is absolutely genetic. But you can still do things to prevent premature ageing. Caci is a treatment favoured by a lot of celebs. When I did my training, our teacher always said that it was her favourite thing to have which produced the best results. Microdermabrasion is probably my favourite because it brightens the skin considerably.

Op I would go to a reputable salon and ask for advice about what's best for you.

I've just realised you said you're only 32. I would think that a skin brightening treatment may be best, rather than Caci which conditions the muscles underneath to tighten up. But definitely have a consultation. My therapist is also a dermatologist so find someone like that. Years ago I made the mistake of going to a clinic where as many treatments as possible were pushed on me to make money!

Thank you all, really helpful advice. Maybe I'll try microdermabrasion and leave CACI for a few more years. I can see that finding a good dermatologist would also be a smart move so I'll ask around.
