Struggling to find a nice coat thats casual enough to wear with gazelles/converse/vans/Chelsea boots.

Any ideas?

Prefer bum covering if possible!

I love the look of a trench worn with jeans and converse/trainers or boots. I have the short version of this one

I bought this mega cheap New Look trench, which I also got 30% off for signing up to the newsletter, and have worn it with skinny jeans/trainers/Chelsea boots. It looks amazing for the price and is (allegedly, I've not tried yet) machine washable.

A 'boyfriend' jersey blazer?

Topshop have a lovely grey one. (Cant link at the mo!)

A Seasalt rain coat

I'd LOVE a trench but I've never been able to find the right one - petite, not too stiff, preferably without the epaulettes on the shoulder...

I already have a raincoat which I do love but just don't want to wear it every single day.

Don't really suit boyfriend blazers sad

I'm interested in this too. I couldn't wear the trench linked above, camel just washes me out and the length would drown me.

Have a look at La Redoute, they have loads of trench style coats without the epaulettes, in different colours and price points. I'm tempted but haven't purchase yet, mostly because it's not showing any signs of bloody spring here yet!

Ah thanks for the suggestion, will look at la redoute. Really would love one if I could find the right one smile

Oh and Acornantics, completely agree - it's bloody winter here today. Not good sad

Bumping for any more suggestions on this thread.... I can't wear camel or beige though. Maybe in navy?
Any other suggestions please?

If you want quality and bum coverage, there may be something here:

This is a link to the French site, as I am in France, but it should let you switch to the UK version...

I got a lovely long line velvet blazer from a charity shop which is fantastic for this - not quite warm enough for it yet though.

The notorious Zara frayed edge coat is the best for your needs but I think it might be sold out.
