Something I can wear with jeans or casual work. Not too cropped. Anyone seen any nice ones? Thanks!

LittleStripyBee Mon 20-Mar-17 14:18:29

I saw a lovely blue and white striped one in Oasis I really fancy, not sure if that's smart enough though.

Here's a black one with pearl buttons from Zara

Had you any colour in mind?

JohnCheese Mon 20-Mar-17 14:48:51

Or Zara black one with the ahem on trend bell sleeve
I've tried this on. Quite a flattering shape.

JoeMaplin Mon 20-Mar-17 14:49:07

Thank you both. I like both of those, I guess I was thinking of a plain colour (i do like the Oasis stripes though ).... but want to avoid a 'work jacket' type look so I guess something unstructured or softer material.

JoeMaplin Mon 20-Mar-17 14:50:07

Although not too unstructured as I'm broad shouldered and size 14, so too unstructured can make me look like a sack!

River Island have these in about 10 different colours. Haven't seen in RL though so don't know what they feel like.

If you want something in a softer material search for jersey blazer. Or jersey boyfriend blazer for a more unstructured fit.

Hush do jersey blazers every year. As do Whistles

imjessie Mon 20-Mar-17 15:25:24

Joules have some nice casual blazers , around £90 I think .

JohnCheese Mon 20-Mar-17 15:36:50

Whistles jacket. It a thick waffle jersey. V comfy, I have one from last year and I find it great. It is fitted, which may not be what you're looking for.

SimplyNigella Mon 20-Mar-17 15:42:47

This Zara Blazer is my all time favourite, really versatile and not too smart or structured.

Windowbasket Mon 20-Mar-17 16:11:09

I've got the Zara blazer SimplyNigella linked to - it's gorgeous.

SimplyNigella Mon 20-Mar-17 18:10:23

I'm tempted to buy a second one whilst it's still in stock as I know once it's worn out I will be obsessing over trying to find a replacement.

BarchesterFlowers Mon 20-Mar-17 18:17:59

I ordered this at the weekend. It hasn't arrived yet. 40% off the price shown so cost £71 with postage.

Pippin8 Mon 20-Mar-17 18:28:37

I ordered 2 of the river island ones in different sizes and colours.

If you have any hint of a bust they're a no go.

akwan Mon 20-Mar-17 19:40:17

It may sound unbelievable but Wallis have some nice ones in

PhyllisWig Mon 20-Mar-17 20:30:20

H&M - few different neutral colours, jersey but with a bit of structure. 25 of your English pounds.

Bounce thank you for sharing those rauched sleeve ones! They're exactly what I didn't know I needed.

Jaimx86 Mon 20-Mar-17 21:40:49

Saw this one on Saturday and thought it was lovely. www.riverisland.com/women/coats--jackets/blazers/white-stripe-ruched-sleeve-blazer-701750

I have just received the Uniqlo jersey blazer in grey . Very unstructured feel but not shapeless. Not lined but for £30 quite happy for it not to be.

RedMetamorphosis Mon 20-Mar-17 22:37:33

I have the Blush River Island one - disagree with the PP who mentioned a no go with big boobs - I'm a 32GG and the jacket fits great.

Oasis have th nicest I find. They're fitted and a lovely length/material.

I lost the will to live trying to find and managed a soft cotton material. It looks so much nicer that a suit material.
