Still looking for really comfortable 'trainer-esque' shoes for a city break. Have tried hundreds of pairs on, and disliked nearly everything. Of those I've liked, most of them have been too wide (I have small and narrow feet).

I don't give a fig if I look 'stylish' or not, but nor do I have any intention of wearing any of the horrors that Skechers sell.

I like these:

Geox white

Clarks nude or silver

Clarks pink

I also liked white leather Superga, but they were too wide and suede Puma and Adidas Gazelles, ditto.

I like the clarks silver the best .

I would like the geoxx but the black laces bother me

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 14:58:17

Thanks, ggirl. The black laces are why I like the Geox - makes them look less like I'm going to be chucking balls around on Centre Court.

ggirl Sat 18-Mar-17 14:58:23

sorry I know you haven't asked for suggestions but I like these geoxx

ggirl Sat 18-Mar-17 14:58:55

oh cross post ..ok well they are nice ..

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 15:00:09

smile Suggestions are fine but the sale Geox are hitting the top of what I'm prepared to spend.

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 15:01:00

Love the 'Champagne' colour of those ones though.

Clarks silver, black laces put me off geox.
Other clarks look like special shoes.

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 15:04:12

I am very special!

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 15:07:10

Like these too Office but would depend on squidginess levels.

BounceBounceSplishSplash Sat 18-Mar-17 15:08:35

I like them all apart from the Clarks pink. The Geox are quite similar to the Air & Grace Glitter which I like so they probably come out top for me.

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 15:12:09

The Clarks nude and Clarks pink both look better irl than in those pics, I think.

And I would like these but hate the huge N.

fruitpastille Sat 18-Mar-17 15:18:03

TKMaxx have a few budget options?

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 15:20:22

Thanks, Fruit. I don't need 'cheapo' as such - just don't want to spend a fortune. Do need them to be pretty durable though.

Love these but think they'd be too wide. Anybody know anything about how they come up?

ggirl Sat 18-Mar-17 15:21:19

Like both those links OP
I've never had Geoxx but they're meant to be dog bollox for comfort

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 15:27:40

Tried some Geox on today and they were v v comfortable.

ggirl Sat 18-Mar-17 15:34:47

ggirl Sat 18-Mar-17 15:36:34

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 15:37:31

I've also got my eye on this beauty though, so can't spend too much on the trainers!

ggirl Sat 18-Mar-17 15:39:39

£10 voucher from Geoxx site if you sign up for newsletter

ggirl Sat 18-Mar-17 15:40:59

you could sell something ..I'm full of useful ideas I never do myself

taybert Sat 18-Mar-17 15:53:10

I like the geox and the office are nice too. I like the black laces, I'm never sure about very white trainers.

I've been looking at these but not sure of the fit: adidas

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie Sat 18-Mar-17 16:57:33

I like those, Taybert.

I think I'm going to order the black lace ones and see what they look like in the flesh. I'm also not terribly fond of all white.

taybert Sat 18-Mar-17 18:20:03

I ran a 10k race in wind, rain and knee deep mud today. I think those trainers will be my reward.

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff Sat 18-Mar-17 18:51:38

I love the Geox, they're gorgeous and get my vote. I have other Geox shoes and they are the most comfortable I've ever owned.

I don't like the Clark's ones at all, sorry.
