I need a second opinion

Are these tacky? Which colour would you pick? I have really wide feet (thanks kids) so am limited and these are the closest I can find to the style I like. They are for my wedding, but I want to be able to wear them afterwards.
MN always hates the shoes I post, so I'm ready for honest opinions grin I'm ordering the sandals with the flowers too, but they are standard fit so will probably be too small. I'm having a lot of blues and greens in the wedding which points to the sage, but I feel the pink is a bit more romantic.

RyanStartedTheFire Fri 17-Mar-17 13:02:23

Bump, maybe they are just horrid.

Sadik Fri 17-Mar-17 13:08:35

I don't think they're horrid at all, but it really depends what your dress is like whether they would go IYSWIM. I much prefer the green - the pink is too flesh tone for my taste.

TreehouseRose Fri 17-Mar-17 13:11:10

The first two are totally old lady. The flower ones are at least sandals and have a pretty decoration.

What are your essentials for these shoes? Wide fit, straps, height I take it?

TreehouseRose Fri 17-Mar-17 13:15:33

On Asos there's new look wide fit silver glitter heel shoes which would be a lot better (sorry can't do link). Or the lost ink wide fit grey tie up sandals. Something like that. Trendier!

TreehouseRose Fri 17-Mar-17 13:17:07

Just type in wide fit on Asos and you'll see lots of block heeled wide fit shoes smile

IHeartDodo Fri 17-Mar-17 13:25:09

I think the pink ones are pretty ugly (I thik it's the colour and heel shape). Green marginally better and sandals are best of the three.
They're all a bit frumpy sorry...

RyanStartedTheFire Fri 17-Mar-17 13:28:22

Needs - block heel, wide fit and I prefer closed toe. Like a mid heel but was willing to be flexible. I'm 23 but pretty grandma-ish so I'm not surprised at the old lady answers grin
I don't really like glittery, and I've raided asos a million times but not found any I like.

RyanStartedTheFire Fri 17-Mar-17 13:28:47

Dodo the green are the same as the pink, just a different shade.

LadyOfTheCanyon Fri 17-Mar-17 13:30:33

Looking on my phone, so extended image searching is out.
The nude/pink Mary Janes which are all I can see are fine in a mother of the bride/ please don't look at me way. They are ok if your outfit outweighs the shoes. If the outfit is as bland as the shoes then I think you may need to reevaluate

RyanStartedTheFire Fri 17-Mar-17 13:30:57

Dress. I'm useless at anything fashionable!

RyanStartedTheFire Fri 17-Mar-17 13:32:09

I am unfortunately a don't look at me kind of girl but I need to put this behind me I think or everyone is going to think I'm a frump at my wedding! Back to the drawing board it is.

RicketyCricket Fri 17-Mar-17 13:33:21

Your dress is beautiful.

You'd be doing it a disservice to wear any of those fugly shoes with it.

RyanStartedTheFire Fri 17-Mar-17 13:34:33

Ha, thank you Rickety!
I'm an hourglass so dress is very eye catching on, don't want dowdy shoes to bring it down. Shoes are not my strong point obviously blush

passthewineplz Fri 17-Mar-17 13:35:41

Not keen on any sorry. There's loads on Asos I like the DP one as in the first link.

mfwannabe Fri 17-Mar-17 13:36:01

Wow, no advice about shoes but that dress is beautiful

RyanStartedTheFire Fri 17-Mar-17 13:36:19

Having a second look at the dress and shoes together I can see you're all right, they are far too clunky for my delicate dress. Maybe I will have to go for a non block heel, but have a very grassy venue. Thanks for all the replies and the honesty!

Pinkkahori Fri 17-Mar-17 13:37:50

I feel your pain. I have wide feet too and find it difficult to get dressy shoes. I like them although I think they don't suit the dress.

Where are the pink ones from? They look like what I've been looking for.

I bought Rainbow Club wide fit shoes for my wedding but they were expensive and obviously weddingy so not really suitable to wear again.

RyanStartedTheFire Fri 17-Mar-17 13:37:50

I've been looking at the DP ones too wine! They have them in store in my town so I might go try them on. Was a bit reluctant to show my toes but I will have to suck it up as I can't have it all.

RyanStartedTheFire Fri 17-Mar-17 13:38:54

pink All of them are from Simply Be, I'm not plus sized but it has a big range of wide fit shoes!

Pinkkahori Fri 17-Mar-17 13:39:12

wide fit wedding shoes

RicketyCricket Fri 17-Mar-17 13:40:00

What about something like these?

passthewineplz Fri 17-Mar-17 13:40:30

Sorry didn't see that you've posted your dress, before I posted.

Your dress is gorgeous I think you need something a bit nicer shoe wise. The last pair on the ones I've linked are nice

Tweedledumb0 Fri 17-Mar-17 13:42:15

If you're worried about the grass, pointy flats would look a million times better than your original suggestions. Well done for backing away grin

Truckingalong Fri 17-Mar-17 13:42:19

Noooooo, no toes in your wedding dress!!!!!
