Anyone recommend a Botox Dr in East Midlands?

Preferably Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire but Leicester is also possible.

I haven't had it before and would like to go with recommendations rather than fancy websites. I'm after a natural look that will soften crows feet and frown lines between the eyes.

I'd also prefer a doctor rather than a nurse but I'm happy to be corrected on this by those in the know.

I've tried Dr Temple in Mansfield but he's booked up and I'd like it done ASAP (hols in a few weeks).

Thanks

Hello
No advice I'm afraid but is Dr Temple any good? Would you recommend?
I've been thinking about Botox or fillers for some time so been looking for someone to try..

Darthvadersmuuuum · 15/03/2017 13:18

I haven't had it done before but did a bit of research on the net and dr Temple has all the right registrations & positive reviews (although I don't generally trust internet reviews as they're easily fabricated). I was encouraged by the fact that he's booked up though but I want it soon so that I look more relaxed and youthful for my hols.

If you go to dr Temple, please post let us the verdict!

Yes it does sound encouraging knowing he's booked up.
I'm very tempted so I've emailed to see when I can have a consultation.

Have you looked at the clinic in selston? Not sure what the reviews are like but I know they do Botox there

Darthvadersmuuuum · 15/03/2017 13:34

I did look at the deletion clinic-reviews are mixed, which makes me nervous. I've booked in at Regent St clinic in Leicester.

Oh great, just had a look and they gave a clinic near me in Derby so I'm tempted there now!
Let me know how you get on please - and good luck :)

I can recommend owen judd at sk:n in west bridgeford, nottingham. Had bit of botox and bit of filler 12 months ago and just thinking of going back for a top up.

Ilikecrocs · 15/03/2017 15:51

Cosmedocs- not sure if there's one in Nottingham but there's definitely one in Derby. Personally haven't used them but know lots of people who have.

Did you go to Regent st? Any good?

Darthvadersmuuuum · 24/03/2017 19:08

I ended up going to Love your skin in newark, a nurse led practice. Had Botox on my awful crows feet and frown lines between the brows. The jury's still out-it'll take 10 days until the paralysis kicks in fully Grin
How did you get in Isobella?

At least you haven't had any nasty reaction which is what worries me most!
Did they seem knowledgeable? Can I ask how much you paid?

I haven't been yet. I'm off work w/c 3rd April so want to book something for early that week.

Just nervous about deciding on who to go with!

Darthvadersmuuuum · 24/03/2017 20:10

I think nasty reactions are rare and it is a temporary treatment. I did lots of research but was a bit gung in the end although the Internet reviews were reassuringly positive.

She was very knowledgeable. I felt no pressure (I would have walked out if she'd tried to sell other/further treatments). She was also realistic, saying that the lines under my eyes (tear troughs) would not and could not be helped by injectable treatments.

It didn't hurt either and felt surprisingly 'normal'. I paid £190 for the 2 areas. I go back in 2 weeks for a check up and if a top up is needed it's included in the price.

Not trying to promote it to you Isobella, it's a very personal decision and this was my experience.

Hi Darth
How do you feel about the Botox results now?
I've booked in the same place as you for next week - but nervous to be honest!!
