for a tenner or less.

I think I quite fancy doing it all over again. But don't want to spend just yet in case I'm having dome sort of fashion crisis.

Just wondering if anyone had seen anything during their clothing perusals

thanks

It was meant to say show me in the title. <gets coat>

FauxFox Tue 14-Mar-17 16:07:21

Sorry do you want a tshirt dress that is or isn't striped? Am a bit confused...

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 16:13:42

So am I grin

I don't mind stripes in general I'm just sick to death of navy Breton stripes.

I quite liked the branded ones like Adidas, Ellesse etc but I'm uncertain if I'm too mature in years for those.

So I'm dithering.

FauxFox Tue 14-Mar-17 16:15:49

basic grey
fashion crisis
striped cheap monday
plain blue

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 16:18:04

Hell no. Because .... well no really. I'm fed up of it.

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 16:18:46

And I see this style but loathe the ridiculous band logos etc. Because no.

FauxFox Tue 14-Mar-17 16:19:46

In my mind I want to wear one of those oversized American football shirts as a dress...I am 40 next year and it might not be a good idea...grin

FauxFox Tue 14-Mar-17 16:20:09

Did you like any I linked?

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 16:27:15

I like the plain grey very much that could work. I like both halves of the fashion crisis, just not together grin

I don't think I can do justice to the sleeves in the others without looking like I'm wearing my nighty outdoors and do not want to feature on a Mumsnet thread about wearing sleepwear in Asda.

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 16:27:42

(I forgot about New Look and that grown ups can go in there)

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 16:29:52

I like the varsity ones too

FauxFox Tue 14-Mar-17 16:31:11

I have a plain dark grey tshirt shape sweater dress that is v useful from Gap so the sale rail in there may also be worth a look smile

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 16:33:37

I saw one like this in Topshop a couple of weeks ago but I didn't trust it with my boobs.

hollieberrie Tue 14-Mar-17 18:04:52

Ooh, tshirt dresses with Converse type trainers are my thing in the summer. I dont care if its passe, I'm all about tomboy grin
I have this one in khaki and berry.

And some H&M ones. I'd really like some good quality ones made by Whistles or somewhere but i can never find any.

Quite like the look of those New Look ones @FauxFox , good tip.

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 18:06:23

Are the BooHoo ones thin? I've never ordered from them before.

hollieberrie Tue 14-Mar-17 18:11:50

Yes, cant lie, they are a bit. I was swayed by the colour and style but the quality aint the best.. confused

leedy Tue 14-Mar-17 18:15:54

Gap do nice ones. Etre Cecile do really nice ones but they are sadly not cheap.

hollieberrie Tue 14-Mar-17 18:32:53

These ones leedy?
Look nice but perhaps a bit... swingy.

leedy Tue 14-Mar-17 18:48:37

Yes! I have one from last year, though it's slightly less swingoriffic. Though I quite like the swinginess...

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 18:59:29

I have a white stuff one and a gap one but they are both tired and I'm liking the looser fit style .... on account, cake.

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 19:01:28

Damn you Leedy!

I looked. Now I want a wrap skirt. A £170 wrap skirt. <cries a bit>

RJnomore1 Tue 14-Mar-17 19:08:54

Damn you honey now I want t shirt dresses

Could I wear them to a 90s festival with my gazelles? And black tights I don't do bare legs

HoneyDragon Tue 14-Mar-17 19:26:21

YES!
