I replace the laces with elastic. I can't work out what that product does. I get my elastic from Wilko £1.49

DS size 9 adult by the way, he's 12. Will the elastic be supportive enough?

They pretty much are elastic WowOoo, they have little hooky bits at each end that go in behind the shoe eyelets to keep them in place. DD loves that they come in different colours.
