Had some really good advice of here lately, so looking for some help again of everyone.
What do you think of this outfit for a night out?

toffeeboffin Mon 13-Mar-17 13:37:52

I like it. Good for spring (if the weather's decentish)

imjessie Mon 13-Mar-17 13:41:55

Love it!

Great I would never have put a cream top and blazer together like that.
Just need to find the top and blazer now!

imjessie Mon 13-Mar-17 14:16:54

Very similar one in new look

Cloudhopping Mon 13-Mar-17 14:19:40

I love a good jeans and blazer combo!

It would be perfect for a holidays too (no grubby toddlers allowed though)

Great look !

Quite a classic look. Not particularly creative but looks good.

I think it's quite casual for a night out and I'm not keen on the tan of its for evening. It's a nice enough day outfit but there's something about the tan ankle boots I just don't like.

To make it more evening you could pair with black skinnies and stilettos?

mrsrhodgilbert Mon 13-Mar-17 17:46:26

It depends on what the night out is really but assuming you're not going to anywhere too swanky I think it's lovely. I have it on my Pinterest and recreated it last summer.

Its for a party boat down the river! So nothing too posh! I do have a nice navy blazer with turn up sleeves so contemplating whether to wear that instead of the cream.

CaoNiMartacus Mon 13-Mar-17 18:05:38

It's a thumbs-up from me!

BackforGood Mon 13-Mar-17 18:21:06

Well it's probably my age but I think the jeans look really scruffy. Hate that torn, broken look.
I like the top and jacket but would wear smarter jeans.

BackforGood Mon 13-Mar-17 18:23:11

Although if you are going on a boat, general thinking is you should wear PJs, in case of a capsize wink

Here grin

It like it overall, the top and jacket look understated but stylish and the colour scheme looks good. It would look great one anyone above average height, as the break in colour from jeans to tan ankle boots would need v long legs to look good.

For me, 5’4, I would lengthen the look of legs by continuing the jeans right down as far as they go and wearing colour matching coloured boots or sandals.

mrsgiggle Mon 13-Mar-17 18:37:00

I'm only 5ft4, havnt really decided on footwear yet.
I have some dark Next skinny jeans would wear them. It's more the top half I need help with.
I could quite easily go out in p,js 😂

JoJoSM2 Mon 13-Mar-17 19:14:42

Well, jeans and blazer + a going out top will be ok provided it's just a piss-up on a boat and not an actual party to celebrate anything important.

LadyOfTheCanyon Mon 13-Mar-17 19:25:18

I would get Marinara sauce down that in a heartbeat.

mrsgiggle Mon 13-Mar-17 19:56:39

It is someones leaving party, but i think they are all going pretty casual, its not a big posh boat

JoJoSM2 Mon 13-Mar-17 20:48:57

Sounds ok to me, then smile

imjessie Mon 13-Mar-17 21:03:52

I meant the top but I can't zoom in on it so maybe not .. I'll try and get the link , Zara good for blazers

MaQueen Mon 13-Mar-17 21:07:22

I have never used Pintrest. How do I go about using it, and following that '1000 ways to wear skinnies' blog?
