Need an amazing hairdresser good at fine straight short hair in Manchester / Chester/ Liverpool please recommend!

Ok, without wanting to sound like a complete arse, I used to live in central London and finding a decent hairdresser was never an issue, if somewhat expensive. I've now moved to a seriously rural back of beyond place and after three shit haircuts in the best local places think I need to suck it up and travel to a shiny metropolis and get me a decent cut.

Please please please give me your recommendations! I have poker straight hair, very very fine, used to have lots but seems to be thinning post-40 and I recently lost a chunk of it through over styling.

I must sound really precious! I'm not even seriously into hair fashion etc but would just like a cut that actually suits my face and a hairdresser that can actually do something that works with my sagging jowls, weak chin etc and doesnt do that thing of "amazing for 20 mins after you've left the salon then falls flat and is impossible to style at home anyway." People with straight fine hair will know what I mean!

Any salons or hairdressers you can tell me about please?!

Oliver Morosini in Manchester City Centre. Hes amazing as is his colourist. I think very reasonable prices as well for the quality of the cut etc.

No idea on hairdresser but have you tried aveda thickening lotion? It's the best product I have ever come across for my short fine hair.

I don't think you're being precious btw. I'm thinking of travelling a couple of hours to Manchester (nearest city) too because I can't find anyone decent around here. The good ones moved away to work in the cities.
