What can be done in 8 weeks?

I have a really big important event on 8 weeks which I would like to look my best for. What can I do in this time that may help? I am late 30's, skin ok but a bit dull, size 14 and am carrying a bit of excess weight for sure. I have bought VIP and fab pads, hoping they may brighten my skin, anything else you would recommend? I've heard of the 30 day shred, does it actually work?

Can't advise you weight wise but drink 2l of water per day & cut out sugar (as much as you can). Combine this with a good cleanse, exfoliate & moisturise & your skin will glow!!!

If you can't cut out the sugar, make sure you drink the water! X

Get a hair appointment, even if it's just a wash and blow dry (nearer the day). I love the N&F pads too. Lots of water. Oily fish. Avoid sugar. Walk more. Get your eyebrows shaped.

Cut out carbs, drink lots of water, get a good haircut. Good polish on your fingers, eyebrows done and keep up wth the skincare.

The 30 dat shred really works. I did it back to back for 60 days it completely transformed my body. But you've actually got to knuckle down and do it and stay motivated. Drink tonnes of water and lots of fruit should brighten your skin too. 8 weeks is lots of time.

Fab, great advice thanks. I'll buy the shred and actually do it! I don't really drink anyway so no alcohol is easy, sugar may be harder but I'll try

I would second a good haircut, blowdry and colour. Also eyebrow grooming. If you have the budget for them I would also go for some light Botox (fantastic for lifting the eye area and making you look brighter and fresher) and also professional tooth whitening.

dont neglect skin improvement from within - I really notice the difference if I eat 'good' fats like avocado and salmon often.

The 30DS really does work - if you have weight to lose and do it 5 days a week for 8 weeks you will have amazing results.

Your muscles will be sore in the first few days but just stick with it and it gets easier!
