Swimsuit that doesn't require any lady garden topiary

I had a great swimsuit a few years ago that had little shorts-type legs - not going halfway down my thighs or anything, but just enough material that meant I didn't have to get the razor out.

Can't find anything like that now, it's all bleeding high leg stuff! Anyone?

simply swim have loads of long leg ones.

Try Esther Williams?

If you google 'boyleg swimsuit' you'll find loads. This 50's style one from Seafolly is my favourite, I've had a black one for about 4 years and it still looks and feels as good as new, well worth the slightly scary price. Seafolly 50's

Sports Direct have a Slazenger boyleg suit. Cheap as chips, no topiary required, and lasts much better than you might think

I think I have that Slazenger swimsuit CMOT. I got it on sale for about a fiver. It's quite boring and unglamorous, but it does the job for a few lengths of the local pool and taking toddler to swim class.

It's this^^ but mine is a different colour.

Boden usually has a boy leg style.

Onelittlepiglet Mon 27-Feb-17 08:42:49

I got one from this site - they have loads of different types. Mine was an Aqua sphere one and is really good. Great customer service too!

As a PP said, M&S always have these tankini style swimming costumes. Also, larger Sainsbury's stores with clothing.

Brillant thread title by the way grin

I'm looking for the same thing OP but with proper bust support - GG/H cup and not a halter neck. If anyone knows of such a costume I would be most greatful.

I got a blue & white dotty swimsuit with a skirt in Sainsburys the other day - it's lovely.

Boden board shorts over a swimsuit. No topiary required!

Tollygunge Mon 27-Feb-17 09:38:14

The seafolly ones are great tho not cheap

HemanOrSheRa Mon 27-Feb-17 09:40:09

I'm short and round. Enormous boobs and bum. Would I look like a Big Top Wrestler in a boy leg suit? They look extremely comfortable!

Ooh, these are fab! I knew I'd get speedy answers here – thank you so much!

And now I know the thing I'm looking for actually has a name –'boyleg' - d'oh. Naff as anything, but at least it'll get me the right thing! grin
