Hi

Looking for some tips to look as gorgeous as I possibly can (given that I had a baby 9 months ago)

Any beauty products or treatments you can reccommend to prep for a beach holiday?

Thank you

Xxxx

Ooh exciting - i am just back from holiday and already planning another!! Get eyebrows shaped (threading/wax) about a week before and then eyelashes dyed and lifted. Pedicure with a nice bright colour on toes - I go with a nude on fingers

Also invest in sheet masks (boots prices are variable) stick one on the face after coming in from the beach - really hydrating and after about 20 mins leaves face all glowy - don't skip on sun cream. I am use 50 for the first few days then 30 for the rest (always 50 on the face) no sunburn at all just a lovely glow!

wear a floppy hat on the beach or comb conditioner with an SPF through damp hair then twist into a bun on top of head.

always wear sunglasses!!! Have a fab holiday

Thank you that's fab! Never had my eyelashes lifted before I think I'll definitely try that and considering HD eyebrows! Xxxx

What a good tip about the sheet mask after the beach. I must remember that one.

Congratulations! Smile

I always use the P20 suncream, expensive but you only have to put it on once per day and its not sticky or greasy so it works out pretty economically priced. Suncream usually gives me breakouts but this stuff is excellent, I've worn it on scuba diving holidays before where I'm in and out of the water and lounging around on a boat in between and never been sunburnt.

I also get my eyebrows tinted before I go, take some lip tints (like the Benefit ones) which can be worn underneath lip sunscreen for a bit of colour and take some baking soda with you - excellent if you get sunburnt, put some in bathwater and sit in it, works wonders.

Last year I bought some GoodThings dry oil spray (I am very old and lazy so CBA using body lotion) but this was really good to spritz on after my shower before going out for dinner or before bed.

I use a leave in conditioner to protect my hair but there's no dye in my hair and its very short so less vunerable than longer/treated . I like to think I look like a Bond girl with sleeked back hair but IRL it goes like a crispy shell Blush . Its nice when its rinsed off though.

YY to having eyelashes dyed.

Tinted eyelashes
Eyebrow thread and tint
Shellac manicure and pedicure
Waxing, whatever and wherever you want!
Use a specific facial suncream or you'll end up greasy, I like murals or la Roche posay tinted.
SPF for hair too, a red/peeling scalp is not attractive!
Lots of dry body brushing in the run up to any holiday and drink lots of water too.
Buy swimwear you feel good in regardless of the price, scrimp on everything else if you need to.

Oh yes swimwear...........I bought some "Bargain" bikinis from Sainsburys last year..the top had no support . I reallly do need to think of my swimwear as a form of underwear ie: functional scaffolding

I'd second the Lash tint and lift and brow tint and wax - I am blonde and totally lose my eyes with no makeup on but these two treatments make SO much difference and I feel way more confident. Maybe use some moisturiser with tan it to take the edge off bright white skin for the first few days also, amazing how much cellulite disappears with a little bit of colour.

This is so good everyone thanks so much I'll be following all of this! Anything and eveything to feel as fab as I can!

Keep Em coming Smile

4 weeks out I up my body scrubbing and moisturising
Gel in my fingers and toes
Eyebrows waxed, upper lip, under arms, legs and Hollywood.
Haircut a week before
And don't shout but 3 weeks before I have a sunbed a week combined with anti-histamine as it stops prickly heat.

When there

Good high sunfactor
I don't use after sun, just a good body moisturiser
Minimal make up
