What to buy at Boden

I have an almost 3 year old DS and a little girl due very soon. I HATE spending money of kids clothes! DS just gets bologna use sauce on everything. He is dressed in charity shop, hand-me-downs and Primark.
However, those cunning folks at Boden have sent me a £15 voucher and I feel compelled to buy something nice and new for once. I have no idea how I got on their radar having never bought something there.
Does anyone have any recommendations of anything nice for toddler boys and baby girls this season? I'm humungously pregnant, so don't fancy spending it on myself Blush

I love their clothes for children, but the very best things for boys are their zip off techno trousers. I order 2/3 every year.

It's 20% off until Thursday (I think), so get on with it soon!

Ooh I've just had a bit of a Boden's spree because they had 20% off. We had some really lovely gifts for DD from there when she was born and they were brilliant quality things. Some romper suits and tights. I've just bought her some dresses, more tights and a pair of reversible trousers. Not had them delivered yet but hoping they're just as lovely as the gifts were.

Just check the date - my voucher ran out on Saturday. If yours has too, they will usually honour it on the phone.

What about investing in a coat or something similar that they will get lots of wear from?

I havent seen the latest collection, but usually love the applique tops and fleeces. They used to do hoodies with a soft teddy lining, they'really lovely and wash well.

Phew! (Didn't mean to sound patronising - sorry if I did. Just that I always notice these things too late!) Hope you find something nice.

No skinny, it's exactly the sort of thing I'd do!

Their boys trousers are fab. Lovely bright colours and checks. Really sturdy and not skinny like a lot of boys trousers.

Their joggers are brilliant. My 21 month old practically lives in his, washed constantly, abused at nursery and not a single bobble. Well worth paying extra for IMO.

Look at their glow-in-the-dark space tshirts. I just ordered the blue one with the rocket for my middle DS :) Also really love their board shorts or jersey baggies shorts for summer.

I love their appliqué tshirts and matching trousers/jumper combos with animals on

i'd nominate:

  • the hoodies with furry lining
  • knitwear
  • the needlecord jackets, great for older baby/toddler in spring/autumn
  • The pointelle cotton long sleeve vests for babies are lovely - fab colours, softer and warmer than plain cotton vests. I have loads Blush. Pointelle t shirts also nice but the colours are not as nice IMO
  • Swimwear
  • Play sets (trousers and top) for babies - these always seem to be sold out when I get there though!

Can't bring myself to pay Boden prices for t shirts, tights, socks etc as those all get wrecked/stained in my house. I'd go for the more substantial stuff like trousers and coats or jumpers.

Thanks again for all the replies. I've gone for a baby girl play set. An eye-watering £33, but after the 20% discount and my voucher I only paid £11 something including p&p. I have a smug, bargain-y glow!
Now I MUST NOT get addicted to Boden (which I'm sure was mr boden's plan when he sent me the random voucher). DS will remain in Primark clothes for now
