Please recommend an SPF

I've just started with Nip + Fab glycolic pads and have so far been putting sun cream on after (well this actually as sun cream makes me break out) but it leaves my make up a bit shiny.

Any recommendations? I use serum too so something light that won't mean my make up slides off at work.

It's very simple and light (they do two v. similar versions - Riche and Light, I find the Riche too thick for my skin).

I like the Hourglass Mineral Veil primer but that is only SPF 20.

Is it quite moisturising as well? I do need to change my primer soon as it's drying.

Dermalogica age smart spf 50 - ££££ though but very light, broad spectrum coverage and doesn't break out my sensitive skin

Second the Biore, not greasy and doesn't break me out. SPF 50 as well.

LRP anthelios factor 50 ultra light - not greasy and doesn't leave you ghost like....or spotty

I use La Roche Posay spf 50 I buy it in Boots. I find it sinks in well and I wear it right through the year I honestly think that it's spf 50 that is keeping the wrinkles at bay on my face ( I do have lines but I think they would be a lot worse without this).

Diamond I don't know if you've found this but I've recently thought that my skin feels more silky/smoother with it on - almost as if I was wearing primer

See, I'm mid twenties so have been taking for granted not wearing spf, not thinking of ageing etc but I'm worried I should have been taking it more seriously.

I will be having a look at all of these this weekend, are they all available in store?

The Biore is great. It tends to take a while to arrive. From a cost and consistency perspective nothing beats it. It feels kind of moisturising but soaks in quickly and is very good under make up.

Recently bought the biore watery essence too via a Japanese seller on eBay. Took about 3-4 weeks but it is brilliant if you have combination or oily skin. It absorbs really quickly and doesn't leave any shine on your skin. Probably too drying if you've got dry skin though. It's not waterproof or sweatproof so no good for holidays etc. La Roche posay is spf 50 and waterproof

Also meant to say that spf in a primer won't cover you for uva and uvb and you need both for anti aging purposes and when using acids like in your nip and fab

I have bought a Bare Minerals powder sunscreen from Amazon. I use it over make-up (plus the Biore one under make-up). The light one is a little orange for me in winter but nice in summer. From the reviews, you can use it on your body too but haven't done it myself.
I think it is discontinued as not on Bare Minerals website anymore but quite a few sellers online.
It is an easy way to top up your SPF throughout the day without messing up your make-up.

I've just bought the new Body Shop SPF50 that they have brought out after a recommendation on here. It has excellent reviews. I'm also in my twenties but trying to sort out my skincare and realised I need to start being serious about wearing a good spf.

This is interesting & helpful. But am new to this concept - are you supposed to put on an SPF before or after moisturising?
