I've just bought I'd like to wear it now, but it's freezing. Any suggestions to keep me warm and looking nice til summer please?

NoBiggie Sun 19-Feb-17 21:06:45

This will only work with sandals IMO I don't like the trainers the model is wearing with it in the photo. I would wait for the warmer months and bring it out then.

Oh boo.
Yeah, was planning on sandals in the summer, but I wanna wear it now!!!

Nettletheelf Sun 19-Feb-17 22:02:28

Don't wear it with leggings or tights underneath. I am begging you. Save it for warmer weather!

grin Ha, well I WAS considering that!

Oh gods. It's bad enough as a summer look. Trying to winter it up is a no no!!

Ladybirdbookworm Mon 20-Feb-17 23:35:03

Ooh I'd wear it now with over the knee black boots and a long sleeved Tshirt underneath
It's lovely

I'd wear it now with a floor length skirt and rollneck jumper over the top. grin

I suggest a bin bag

Very 1970s - Jackie cover girl sort of thing. So I think crying out for Adidas (bare legs)

Before that, try going for horizontal stripe tights and a plain canvas lace up (eg Converse, superga) in the colour of the darkest strip. Or check to see if Clarks are still doing the revamped polyveldts (can't remember what they called them last year).

AuntieStella Tue 21-Feb-17 17:12:08

The Clarks I meant are now called Funny Dream

<Clarks link intended. The link to another brand in my previous post is a skim>

I love them, I'd wear them with a black roll neck, black opaques and black suede wedge boots. But I frequently feel at odds with replies on here.

ChocolateDoll Tue 21-Feb-17 22:20:20

CallarMorvern - are you kidding?

EggsEleven Tue 21-Feb-17 22:39:48

Ok, not my kind of look at all so I'm a bit out of my comfort zone but what about with a cream polo neck and tan knee high boots with a block heel. Or black polo with long black boots.

It would probably be best to wait until spring/summer though.

You could put your dressing gown over the top of it?

If you really need to wear it, knee high boots and a long sleeved tee under it. I'd suggest you don't though...😂

EggsEleven Tue 21-Feb-17 22:48:04

Could you put a jumper over the top of them and wear like denim culottes? Like this

puppysurprise Tue 21-Feb-17 22:52:15

Take it back and get a refund.

Mrsknackered Tue 21-Feb-17 22:52:39

CallarMorven minus the tights I agree!

EggsEleven Tue 21-Feb-17 22:58:31

Ditch the beret though grin

I have jeans like this which look good with a black jumper, tights underneath & Stan Smith type shoes.... I reckon worth trying with a black roll neck underneath & open type black cardigan on top

I think the style is very much A Fasionable Look and you so need to be quite bold. I think you could make it into some really good outfits.

Iamastonished Tue 21-Feb-17 23:09:12

Laughing at some of the comments here.

I can picture this outfit being on another M and S bashing thread. I really don't like it at all.

Here are some styles for denim culottes but I think the jumpsuit could have a similar look.
