Jeans / trousers - a go to for your bottom half !

I m not loving all the frayed denim baggy boyfriend looking jeans I see everywhere - they don't suit me at all.
What should I wear instead ? Need quite a few pairs for switching around day to day, so need options. Am usually a smart casual style hate leggings love skinnies like skirts but struggle with footwear (maybe that s another tread :)
Any ideas welcomed please
