Cheap but good skinny jeans

Hi I've put a bit of weight on the last few weeks and my lovely Levi's don't fit anymore. I'm determined I'll lose the weight but I need some emergency pairs and don't have much money. Please could you tell me your favourite 'cheaper' jeans.

Primark
Sainsbury's

Thanks. I once tried primark and had to go for two sizes bigger! But demoralising but sainsburys sounds good.

I got some nice ones in Matalan last week.

Topshop high waisted JONI jeans.

Good fit, hold in my Mum tum, have various leg lengths and colours.

They are not as denim as your Levi's are likely to be though, they are a stretch jean. Thought I'd mention that as, although I live in mine, could be a deal breaker for you if you prefer a sturdy denim.

Highwaisted Dorothy Perkins "Eden" are good. Lots of give in them ☺️

I really like Zara skinnys.

Sainsbury's jeans are awesome, and generously sized so good for the ego ;)

Second the Dorothy Perkins Eden.
Have a few pairs, nice fit and about £20

Is £22 cheap? The Next leggings are very comfy and well sized.

Asda wonderfit are great. £20 a pair, really stretchy. No bagginess at knees, come in loads of colours.

I would say if they are only for the short term don't worry too much. Primark and dp are both cheap & comfy. New look similar price bit last slightly longer (but less "give" if that's important).

Plus biggest thing is don't worry about what the label says. You know your own size, regardless of what label says!

I'm in the same boat as you and just bought 3 pairs in primark for the grand total of £20!

I tried the Asda ones after reading people rave about them but they are too stretchy to be considered proper jeans, more like leggings. I like Gap True skinny, you can get them for under £30 when they have one of their regular discount codes.

New look do skinnies for £19.99 that I think are pretty decent and always buy when I've put weight on.

I second new look, I love mine.

Sainsburys ones always fit well - also New Look high waisted skinnies are good for holding everything in!

Asda Wonderfit, best jeans in the world 😂

I must be the only person who doesn't get on with Asda Wonderfit - I've heard so much good stuff about them on here, but the 'small' just gives me a muffin top and makes my arse look huge, whereas the 'medium' is way too big. And none of them are long enough. Asda 'Long' isn't very long at all IMO.

New look but I bought mine from Amazon for £8 and they are more denim than legging unlike the more expensive ones in the shop Confused

H&M high waisted skinnies.

Don't go baggy, keep their shape, high waist sucks you in.

Hi thanks everyone. I did buy some Zara ones yesterday but they seem a little bit short in the leg. I compared them to my Levi's and my Levi's are loads longer! I didn't even know this was 'a thing'. Thought leg sizes were all the same.

A lot of jeans are ankle grazer length right now, especially approaching spring.

I've just bought some fab lift and shape ones for £14 from the clearance section of the Next website, they had loads of sizes left last week. Very stretchy and high waisted.
