l'occitane hand cream

hi, due to being badly organised/unwell etc i've not had a chance to reorder my usual face cream (ester lauder daywear). I'm in such short supply of any cream in the house that I've just been using l'occitane shea hand cream on my face and neck. i've got a few small tubes from christmas etc...

just got me thinking, is there any reason why i shouldn't do this? it is just so much cheaper so just wondering if anyone else uses hand cream on their face etc and what kind of results do they yield..?
