What do you wear to lounge around the house?

Just wondering what you all wear to lounge around at home.

Basically I grew up being trained to get changed out of my 'good' clothes as soon as I got home so they wouldn't get all crumpled and ruined.

I've got some old joggers and leggings and some old tops that I wear around the house now, but I was looking at the Hush joggers online thinking that would be an upgrade in my look - but knowing me I would still save them for best to stop them being ruined.

What are you all wearing at home- and do you make an effort there as well as when you're going out?

As soon as I get in I am in lounge-wear. Right now, some black velour M&S "lounge pants", a huge jumper, and Uggs. In summer, leggings and Breton tops. Basically I don't look so awful I couldn't answer the door, but equally I wouldn't go out like this. (My partner is a lucky, lucky man.)

Old tops, old joggers.

Yeah that sounds about right - maybe it's a slight upgrade of what I'm in, I could probably up it a few notches

I usually stay in the top I'm wearing, but change in to pj bottoms and take my bra off. I can't bare having anything tight on when sitting down to relax.

If im getting in from work I swap out of my suit and into pyjamas.

If ive been out and about on a day off I swap my jeans for pyjama bottoms.

Pyjamas. I don't wear them to Tesco obviouslyWink

Slazenger sweatpants, t-shirt and an oversized men's thick cotton or denim shirt. I'll change out of my sweats into jeans if we're expecting visitors which is almost never thank god

I can't be assed 'upgrading' the comfy joggers look when it works. They're not quite sleepwear/pjamas but I'd still never leave the house in them. Like you said if I bought posh loungewear I'd only end up saving them for best which is never

I love my pyjamas. As soon as I am home for the day I get changed into them. I do have some lounge wear but prefer my pj's even though they make me look like a right lazy thing if someone knocks on the door

Jogging bottoms and jumper/t shirt. Occasionally pyjama bottoms and a vest.

DH changes into either joggers or pyjama bottoms when he gets home too.

Jeans and a jumper.

Pyjamas after work. At weekends when I might have to open the door/DC's friends might be round, I have some comfy joggers from Boden and a tshirt that I wear.

I would live in comfy joggers/pj's all day every day if I could Grin

Jeggings, hoodie, jeans, slouchy cardigans my DH is too, a lucky man

I have decided to bin anything that isn't 'my colour' or doesn't fit/flatter so that although I'm 'scruffing it' at least I look half presentable rather than the bag lady DH commented on a few weeks ago!

Oh and soft fluffy socks are non negotiable!

On days I haven't been out to work, I just wear the 'home clothes' I've been wearing all day. So cords or jeans, t-shirt + jumper/cardigan and indoor shoes. On days when I've been out to work, when I come home I usually change out of my dress/skirt into 'home clothes'. Then later, just after brushing teeth, I change into PJs for bed.

Black and white leopard print fleece onesie. Best loungewear ever - I have turned down my heating since getting it!

PJ bottoms (but nice ones, mostly Hush, some Boden), Boden lightweight l/s tees, and one of the many beautiful chunky wool or cashmere jumpers I've accrued over the last five or six years. Sheepskin slipper boots.

My house is quite cold, and thats how I like it. Much prefer to get my warmth from clothes than heating.

Old Hush Harems or some black jersey "trousers" from Next (like joggers but a bit more fitted/stylish and very flattering) with long sleeved jersey T's or a jumper.

Got a nice Oasis loungewear pale pink hooded cardigan and M&S cashmere socks for Christmas. Wear with my M&S black thermal top and leggings and spray on some perfume. Feel 100% more fabulous.

Soft black leggings, a long vest and a cardigan, generally. Comfy but doesn't feel quite as scruffy as if I were in pjs or tracksuit bottoms.

Pyjamas. Bra off - hair up - job done.

Oh and cashmere or fleecey jumpers - sometimes leggings - uggs (yes i know, terrible but very comfortable) or one of my many pairs of slippers. Honestly have more 'at home' wear than any of my other clothes 😂

My indoor 'day time' outfits consist of:
Navy, grey or black harem trousers, figure hugging long sleeve tops. Cardigans and knitted jumpers are teamed up with these too.
In the evening I switch to pajamas.

If im going out i will change.

I work from home, so I do tend to try and get dressed 'properly' when I'm working, but once that's over and I know I'm in for the day, PJ bottoms, a non-wired bra (can't manage without one), long sleeved heatgen tee shirt, wool socks, a pair of slip on Skechers that I keep for indoor use, and a cashmere boyfriend cardigan. In the summer, I change the top off for a short sleeve tee shirt.

I have recently bought these and I wear them with a t-shirt and if very cold, a black fleece jacket. The M&S pants are excellent, flattering and comfortable: www.marksandspencer.com/quick-dry-new-yoga-bottom-with-cool-comfort-technology/p/p22458191?OmnitureRedirect=Quick+Dry+New+Yoga+Bottom+With+Cool+Comfort%E2%84%A2+Technology

As soon as I get home from work I change into my Harry Potter pyjamas- I have loads of different ones from Primark. Life's too short to not be comfy.
