I used to bleach mine at home Felt like going back to my natural (very dark brown) Just got a box dye and it was fine (It does take quickly because bleached hair is porus)
Yes you can. You need a certain type of brown, I've forgotten if you need ash or you avoid ash but I've done it loads, never had a problem yet.I usually google to het the correct colour.
I do this periodically.Have full head of finely weaved bleach for years, then get bored and whack on a brown box dye.Never had a problem.
