I am hoping to go out with DH in a few weeks, we have had a tough year and havnt been out just the two of us for ages.
We are hoping to go into a local city to a few nice bars.
I want to look nice, as feeling abit rubbish with everything going on 😢
I have some lovely heeled tan ankle boots i bought in the sales, but i just cant think what colours to put them with, did think black skinnies and a nice blouse? But what colour? 😨

Deathraystare Sun 12-Feb-17 10:12:21

I would wear dark blue skinnies if that is what you want to wear I like navy with tan and a blue blouse? What do you think?

Loveagoodbook Sun 12-Feb-17 10:16:29

I havnt got dark blue skinnies, but could look. Ok thanks will look at blue blouses. Everthing seams to be very ruffly at the moment!!

Deathraystare Sun 12-Feb-17 10:55:12

Yes I know what you mean. Well in that case (and if you like the colour I suppose you could go for a tan blouse to go iwth the boots.. I have seen some around. But I know what you mean about ruffles. They are everywhere!

Loveagoodbook Sun 12-Feb-17 11:34:19

Ok thanks, ill have a look. Ive seen a couple of nice ones (i think) on next. Thinking long sleeves, as i hate being cold!!

BusterGonad Sun 12-Feb-17 13:09:10

Or a cream blouse, that would look nice with tan boots and black skinnies.

Loveagoodbook Sun 12-Feb-17 13:21:45

Thank you, im terrible since ive hit 40, no idea what to wear!
I have seen these what do you think?
I know ones a dress, but wondering what this would look like with brown? If not brown black shoe boots

DianaT1969 Sun 12-Feb-17 13:24:30

I like the dress but not the jumper.

Loveagoodbook Sun 12-Feb-17 13:26:01

I quite like this too.
Think is i always order and they look rubbish on!

BusterGonad Sun 12-Feb-17 14:55:28

I like the wrap blouse and the dress.

Loveagoodbook Sun 12-Feb-17 15:03:02

Do you think the dress would go with tan boots Buster or better with black?

BusterGonad Sun 12-Feb-17 15:08:54

I think it would go better with black but if you went for nude tights and tan boots it should still look nice. I'd wear it with tan boots.

BusterGonad Sun 12-Feb-17 15:09:39

Actually as there's no black in the dress tan would look great.

Loveagoodbook Sun 12-Feb-17 16:56:36

Thanks Buster, so the tan boots and nude tights?
I like this top now too! But quite like the thought of a dress as never usually wear dresses

BusterGonad Mon 13-Feb-17 05:17:25

Yes I like nude tights so much better than black. I think the nude breaks up the blockiness and looks more dressy. To me black tights are a work look! grin

Love the dress!!
Green goes with tan so the boots should work smile

ChishandFips33 Mon 13-Feb-17 06:49:48

Do you want to share a pic of the boots?

Loveagoodbook Mon 13-Feb-17 07:28:06

Aah thanks everyone, i have ordered the dress also seen a couple of nice blue ones on Debenhams, the pic actually has tan boots with the dress on there.
Chish, i cant find them online anymore, they were an new year sale item bit very similar in colour to below, tan suede

BusterGonad Mon 13-Feb-17 08:21:22

ChishandFips33 Mon 13-Feb-17 08:54:17

Loveagoodbook Mon 13-Feb-17 10:08:05

Aah thanks both, im actually getting excited about going out now. Will be a nice break from a horrid few months ☺

Loveagoodbook Mon 13-Feb-17 10:56:53

Well picked the dress up. Its horrid it looks like a shapeless sack! 😂

BusterGonad Mon 13-Feb-17 11:33:13

Try oasis op, it's my favorite shop, I favor a fit and flare or skater style!

BusterGonad Mon 13-Feb-17 11:41:00

These 2 are lovely and a very flattering shape. Argh I can't post them both. The other one was the Ditsy Wrap Skater. I can't post either! And one was the Spring Bouquet Skater. Really really flattering shape. Not boxy at all. Both Oasis.

Loveagoodbook Mon 13-Feb-17 11:43:37

Thanks ill look shortly. I love Oasis too ☺
