Is it all it is cracked up to be. Got the following in my basket but thought I would seek wisdom of S & B gurus before flashing the cash.

Bond Girl lipstick
Beach Stick in Formentera
Chameleon eyeshadow pencil
Barbarella Brown liquid eyeliner pencil.

I've blond hair with natural grey highlights , pale skin more yellow than pink undertones and pale blue eyes. Need pepping up.

I have bond girl and adore it and all their lipsticks. I also have the highlighter bronzer duo ( which is nice but maybe not for £50). I got my mum an eyeshadow quad last year and she adores it and got another one! I don't know about the others - sorry. The lipliners good though x

And Im blonde ( champagny) with grey eyes and a yellow undertone pale skin too so bond girl will look awesome.

Thank you Edge. I'm 51 and love make up but more of a natural look so was worried that CT maybe more for the younger market. Don't want to look like I'm trying too hard but if your mum likes it that seems like a good endorsement.

I have the chameleon eyeshadow stick. I really like it. It's quick and easy to use Day to day and can put it on higher and under neath your eye and blend for a smokier night time look. Makes my green eyes pop.

Finger is Chameleon glittery, I'm worried it may be too much on my mature wrinkly eyes.

Queen don't tempt me to put more in my basket 😀

Have you tried the quick n easy looks? I got the natural glowing one- it includes a beach stick as well as colour chameleon, lipstick, mini mascara and mini wonder glow. £55 all in- the beach stick, lipstick and chameleon would be £72 if bought individually.

Oh, and I like the make-up I've tried so far. My husband got me the ingenue set for Christmas and I really liked that, especially the colour chameleon.

I've only got a couple of lipsticks and the eyeshadow sticks. Both are incredible. Can highly recommend. Would recommend getting a lip pencil to go with the lipstick though 👌🏽

Chameleon isn't overly glittery, it's just a really nice touch of sparkle I'd say- really nice everyday eyeshadow but you can build the colour/create different looks if you wanted it for evening

I don't have any of the products you mention specifically but got the Golden Godess eye kit (quad, eyeliner, mascara) and a swish & pop blush for Christmas 2014 and I LOVED it. Everything has just run out but I can't afford the £100 plus to replace at the mo Sad

Deffo recommend as a brand.

2015 even (not 2014!), so it's lasted just over a year and I use it every day.

I've heard that the Rosie Huntington Whitely stuff in M and S is made by the same people and if a fairly blatant copy colours and packaging-wise.

Some v positive comments here. I'm placemarking.

Queen- The foundation is CRAP ( splits on dry skin and really low coverage) and yeah Elf my Mum is 54 and loves it so should be good for you !

Oh, the RHW stuff is nice too. The eyeshadow sticks in particular are great. I hardly ever use proper eyeshadow now as it is so quick to use the sticks. The almond one in particular is nice.

I also really liked the glow primer thing and the highlighter stick. Wasn't keen on the concealer.

I really like the lipsticks and have several, but found the liquid eyeliner pencil really smudgy, plus after a few sharpens the "lead" was all wobbly and could have been lifted right out. I binned that and would not recommend.

I've found it a bit of a mixed bag. Agree the foundation is not good. Eye pencils are good but be aware they are very smudgy so need a gentle hand. Powder is good but it inexplicably does not come with a brush/sponge so you have to carry one separately. Lipsticks are lovely colours but I've found them a bit drying. Cheek colour lovely and subtle. Glittery eyeshadow and thick eye pencils are super.

Magic cream and day cream highly recommended but £££££

I tried the foundation and really disliked it.

I'm not normally a make up wearer but wanted to look a bit more professional so had a make over. I ended up buying the Uptown Girl set, I think. I love it because it looks really natural on me.

The only thing I'd say is that the mascara forms dark circles under my eyes at the end of the day. The Liz Earle one is better.

I found the lipsticks super moisturising Nicola ! Even cured my chapped lips a few times, made you got an old batch?? Magic cream is incredible!!!!

And if anyone wants some good brushes - i recently got some of the wilkos ( yes i know WILKOS) new brushed and honestly they're better than my MAC ones !!! They're insane for like £4 each !!!!

I got a voucher for Christmas and had a rare old time spending it a few weeks ago Grin I got the Colour Chameleon eyeshadow stick in a greedy golds colour, an eyebrow pencil, which I love because it's double sided and also has a highlighter hidden in the lid, and a beach stick in Formentera. I love all 3 things. They gave me a slew samples of the Magic Cream thingy which I really like but not as keen on the eyeliner, mascara or primer from the samples.
Oh and as someone else said above, the Rosie for Autograph make-up range for M&S is supposed to be a dupe for CT. I love the lip glossies.

I've got the Chameleon eye stick - It's lovely colour but the lid keeps falling off and it doesn't have the staying power of Laura Mercier Eye Caviar Stick.
The pot of eye colour is lovely and very easy to apply and blend. You need tiniest amount. Lasts longer than the stick.
The mascara was AWFUL for me. Smudged and ran within the hour - seriously unimpressed.
Face highlighter in compact is gorgeous and loads of women have commented positively on it when I wear it - gives a subtle sheeny glow to cheekbones and I put a little under brow bone.
Hit and miss for me, unlike Laura Mercier stuff which I find consistently excellent in quality and application.
CT counter service in my local John Lewis is HORRENDOUS too - like the bad old days of snooty Mac assistants who'd rather be trying the stuff on themselves than helping you.
