Hello,

Please can you recommend me a budget friend salt scrub.
I love those by espa but at £37 they are a long way over current budget.

Thanks Katy

why don't you make your own? there are tons of recipes online.

Get yourself a pair of soap and glory scrub mits. Just used with your usual body wash.

I tried making my own, but the salt I used turned out to be too scratchy and I was left with scratch marks on my arms Hmm
Looking for people's more budget friendly favourites.
Thanks Katy

My mum uses The Sanctuary one. It's about £13.

Use sugar instead of salt. Brown Demerara with coconut oil and vanilla essence is a nice one. Or half sugar half coffee grounds with oil.

Doh, just seen you specified salt scrub. Ah well sugar scrubs are nice too!

I just mix table salt up with my shower gel in a ramekin, as a pp said demerara sugar is a gentler alternative and works equally well mixed with shower gel, I am tight though and the only one I've bought and loved was a Body Shop amber one.

I love the BodyShop Pink Grapefruit scrub.
Doesn't leave my skin 'coated' like oils can and it smells amazing

I did try exfoliating gloves but they left my skin itchy and jumpy, hypersensitive. Not for me.

Oh, liking demerara sugar with shower gel - have all ingredients already in house.
Thank you
Katy

Superdrug vitamin e oil and sugar scrub is really good and it's only a few pounds.

I use sugar with coconut oil. Cheers and effective.
Or a Lush Buffy bar which is fab.
