I felt sorry for the family of the navy seal whose remains were being returned. I felt less sorry for Ivanka having to cross grass in heels to attend the servce.

It's a question about the coat!!!

For all you know, that coat was designed by a tiny company set up by a single mother and this is her big break! The designer could be an unknown bespoke tailor. The Trumps didn't design the fucking coat for god sake!

I have no idea who designed it but to get up on your high horse about a question relating to the bloody designer is pretty outrageous and actually really offensive to all creative people.

Most designers and artists are struggling to make a living - forget about being noticed and coming to public attention. They can't control who buys their works through shops or public outlets.

That is one of the most offensive attitudes to creative people I've ever read.

Art, creativity and fashion are hugely important in these turbulent times and no, designers may not be able to choose who buys their products, but, previous comments and post above this aside,I have to agree - I wouldn't hold this family up in esteem in any area other than an example of a particularly troubling rebranding and relaunching of rhetoric and emerging actions that we swore to never forget. I'm a size 4 but can only wear heels or slip on shoes with a buckle across or they just stay in the floor and I walk out of them like they are to big! Why is this it drives me mad!! I'd love some nice heels I've tried going down a size and then they are to small

Did you read what was written above? It's not "celebrating" anything. It was a question about who was the designer. The designer (as pointed out above) can't stop people purchasing their clothes or wearing them.

The beautiful thing about this is = the more people like you post on this thread, the more people will read it and the more the beautiful coat will be seen!

I don't care who is wearing it. I love that coat and I really hope I can get it or one very like it. I really wouldn't care whether it was being worn by Katie Price, Nigel Farage or the corpse of Lenin. None of that has anything to do with the garment itself.
