Great dullness is in the shops. Where oh where will I find short dresses in sassy colours? Poppy red, eye-opening orange I'm looking at you!

Casual rather than fancy, above the knee not below, shirt rather than wrap. Think DVF over White Stuff. Not that there is anything amiss with the latter...just there's been none in my wardrobe ever.

Thank you kind ladies!

Ahem...i didn't mean DVF budget by the way...that WOULD be along the lines more of White Stuff!

Polyester though but probably worth seeing what it's like.

Youre not kidding about the lack of colour out there!

This one from Silk Fred is nice too.

This would get you noticed!

Last one then I must get on!

Likewise OP, I'm sick of boring winter colours. I've just bought the orange la redoute dress and am eyeing up silkFred- this thread could be dangerous!

Gullane Tue 24-Jan-17 23:25:37

Now, that last SilkFred one is triffic. Thanks NewPants smile.

I like the cut of the Wallis one, the pattern not so much though. Natural fibres over polyester too.

Oh good. Hope it's nice in RL

COS had some poppy orange dresses and knitwear. Gorgeous red trousers too. Their designs are quite understated so it works I think.

Gullane Wed 25-Jan-17 17:50:33

Those poppy red dresses at Cos are not making themselves obvious to me. Do you have a link please, Im?

Gullane Wed 25-Jan-17 18:18:37

Hmm. Those poppy red dresses at Cos are not revealing themselves to me, Im. Do you have a link please?

I can't see them online, but in real life Cos has loads of bright orange stuff which looks great.

Sorry I saw them in the shop, don't seem to able to find them online.
