What are your favourite shampoos and conditioners?

I like Liz Earle but have just found out they've changed the formulation of the conditioner I use. My hair has been horrible since I started using it, I had not made the connection until now.

Has anyone got any recommendations? I prefer more natural brands.

My favourite is Despicable Me Minions banana scented shampoo. I also have the bubble bath Blush. Neither are very natural but I love banana scented things. My favourite conditioner though is aveda blue malva.

Paul Mitchell no scent, no colour shampoo and the moisture extreme conditioner

My hair is longish, blonde/mouse, normal textured but dry and so can go frizzy if not I use a shampoo without enough moisture. Sensitive scalp so I need gentleness (+ sulphate free and ideally silicone free as I hate the build up).

I use Pureology Platinum s&c once a week for my blonde (blue shampoo)

Plus Aveda moisturising hair mask once a week/when I remember.

I'm not sure if it's an urban legend or not but I'm sure I've read its good to change your shampoo when you finish a bottle because your hair "gets used to it". Writing that down, it looks ridiculous, but anyway that's my rule - I don't use the same shampoo constantly.

I have very fine hair so use a shampoo with a volumiser - I like Aussie and Tresseme, but I also use dh's Head & Shoulders occasionally and whatever cheap stuff I bought for the dc to use!

My favourites are whatever is on offer at Sainsbos when I go shopping 😀
I don't believe all the hype around most beauty products. They all contain pretty much the same ingredients

Good old Alberto Balsam Grin

People compliment my hair, so it can't be obvious that I'm using cheap shampoo.

Wilko! After many years of spending a fortune on fancy shampoos I've discovered Wilko Raspberry and Rhubarb shampoo and conditioner. Brilliant stuff that makes your hair super shiny and feels lovely. 99p a bottle.

Kérastase Discipline Bain Fluidealiste Sulfur Free shampoo and conditioner.

I went through a phase of using whatever was in the shower - cheap any old thing and I thought my hair was no different.

Then I suddenly thought, why I am I using supermarket shampoo that my children use on my 46 year old's, coloured, long hair. So I went back to Kerastase and my hair is transformed.

We (DD and I) use Phil Smith Cocolicious because it makes our hair feel great and it's not tested on animals.Halo

I've tried cheap shampoos, ridiculously expensive shampoos and everything in between...I always go back to Dove.

Schwarzkopf bonacure q10 for aging hair.

I second the Kerastase.
Just had a long period of using whatever mid range shampoo/conditioner were on a 2 for £6 (or thereabouts) in Tesco's. Had decided that my hair was beyond help and would have to have a drastic cut back to get any condition back on it. Used some Xmas money to buy a last ditch Kerastase Bain satin 2 shampoo and conditioner which i remember using a couple of decades ago when money was a-plentiful. Three uses and hair is totally repaired, really silky, really shiny.
Caught DD trying to snaffle it - no way, she can stick with her Tresemme.

Anything without grim chemicals or preservatives in. I have long coloured hair which is thick and dry. It's also curly and I blow dry it straight.

My favourite is the Caudalie shampoo which is pricey bit really conditioning but then the super cheap coconut hair mask from Superdrug as a conditioner

Dove is great. I like Herbal Essences too. I look for the offers at the supermarket too.

Keraste here, I keep trying cheaper brands but end up going back as my hair loses its shine.

Living Proof ... It's all the money but wonderful. Currently using Alberto Balsam and it makes my hair so greasy ... Sad

I used kerastase years ago, I looked at getting some again but I'm a bit confused by the choice these days!
I use tigi oatmeal and honey. I sometimes use other things in between but always come back to it.
I recently tried the redken curl one but really didn't get on with it.

I treat myself to some Bedhead reconstruct shampoo and conditioner and the difference it has made is massive. Not overly expensive on feelunique and my hair feels so much fresher and shinier.

Does Aussie test on animals? I am sure that I remember someone saying that they do but I might have imagined that?

I like the Elvive Extraordinary Clay green shampoo, and Redken Diamond masque. I also use Moroccanoil on my hair before I blow-dry it. My mum works for Vidal Sassoon and brings home all the fancy hair stuff so I have tried loads of different brands but since I started using the Elvive shampoo my hair has been in the best condition for years.
